What brands of shoes do you own and would buy again?

On the advice of someone much cooler than myself, I picked up a pair of Adidas Stan Smith's and a pair of J. Crew chukkas. Both look pretty nice.

Gaf never gets this right.

New Balance 574.

Great shoes, Grandpa.
Those are awful

I'm a barefoot or flip flop guy, if I'm wearing shoes its because I'm at the office or because its raining. Other than that, no shoe policy.

Amneziak

Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81. Comfortable like slippers. I'm on my fifth pair (all still in good shape, I just like getting new colors).

My favorite pair of trainers.

Pretty much all of the Adidas City Series are great but these are the pinnacle.

Any show like this that i would generally use for playing soccer and everyday and i would have to take it first thing to the shoe maker to add a good stitch between the rubber and the shoe so it would not peel off after a few months.

They would end up looking something like this.

I like that soccer style of shoe.

Red Wings look boss. I've been eyeing this pair for a long time:

The only thing keeping me from a purchase is the price :(

+1 for Iron Rangers. I got a pair that fell apart after a day of wear and I was worried but I've had a replacement pair for a few years and they're amazing.

Clarks, White Mountain and Carlos Santana for boots and pumps.

Kuru for sneakers/work shoes.

I hope to one day add Doc Martens to the list.

I don't wear one pair of shoes. Why limit yourself!

But seriously...I rotate through several different brands and pairs of shoes on a weekly, sometimes daily basis. From various Nike, Toms, Adidas, Puma, Vans, Timberland, Converse etc.

Today I'm wearing these Toms I picked up on Clearance for $32.

I don't have a specific shoe I'd buy again, but I've mostly been buying Toms, Nikes and Converse of late.

I own this pair of lunarepic flyknit & I absolutely love them.

I'm going to buy another pair in a different color, maybe something a bit more casual like black and white or heather grey.

I'm wearing Red Wing Heritage Weekender Oxfords (they're actually derbies, but whatever) right now, and I like them a lot. They seem pretty bulletproof. I'd definitely buy other Red Wing Heritage shoes/boots at this point.

Also, though I'm not that big on wearing athletic shoes all the time, I have some Nike Free 4.0 Flyknits that are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They almost feel wrong, like I'm wearing slippers out in public.

how do those Red Wings recover from the rain?

Right now:

1. Timberland Earthkeepers - Stormbuck Chelsea Boot Black

3. Clarks Desert Boots Brown Suede

I really like my Timberland shoes, would definitely buy again. Good mid tier shoes, that are comfortable, avalaible in bigger sizes, seem to be built in high quality, and looks really good.

Clarks are good as well, but it took some time to get used to the desert boots.

I needed a budget dress shoe, and a couple of years ago I bought rockports, and since its been my favorite shoe. I wear the same pair every day. Granted they don't hold up because of the heavy use, but I've bought 3 of the same pair because of how comfortable they are.

They're more comfortable than all of my sneakers..

If I had the chance I woudl buy Puma Mostros forever.

Comfortable as all hell IMO.

Man I used to love these back in the day. Had a white pair with black soles and red puma accents.

My current go to shoes are Converse All star ox for work, mainly because they're comfy as hell. These Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski for day to days outside of work as they go with pretty much anything I wear

And these Janoski Air Max for the gym, again for comfort and the nice wide sole is great on the treadmill or using the leg press.

Once I discovered Clarks I've gotten a pair now and then for myself or as a gift for others.

Penguin lacks durability but their style is top notch and their prices aren't so out of wack I feel as ripped off as I did with other brands like Diesel. I continue to tolerate that flaw but I still look out for other brands that could be longer lasting even if not as stylish and are just as competitive on price.

Ralph Lauren Polo...their traditional sneakers. Better looking and more comfortable than Vaans or Converse. Durability sucks though...I usually get a few pairs a year.

Besides that, Merrell for walking/hiking comfort on trips and excursions. Supremely comfortable and built to last.

I pretty much only buy DC's. They are the comfiest shoes, but sadly they wear away very quickly. I need to find an alternative that is just as comfortable but last more than 6 months.

The Primeknit material is stretchy and soft and just feels really great on the foot. It's very comfortable.

Their NMD line (among other lines) have Primeknit variants as well.

I'm not really a sneaker guy but when I saw these I wanted to buy them. Turns out they are immediately sold out every release.

LOL, maybe in 4 years when they aren't cool anymore :-(

Veja, one of the few brands I know is fairly ethical compared to all the others.

I also like my Van Bommel dress shoes and Merrell walking shoes.

I wear these Lovehunter boots:

I'd definitely buy from them again. I've bought a number of boots like this from Japan and they usually get wrecked pretty easily but these have held up through the horrible salt of Canadian winter.

I've had my Clarks Bushacre (2?) for a year or so and while the leather has been through a lot, the shoe is holding up great.

I also really like Vans in general. I had a pair that lasted me throughout high school and my GF got me a canvas style low cut shoe for Xmas that has held up really well to everything I've thrown at it so far.

I always buy Etnies as my go to choice, just comfy as hell and pretty well built compared to some other similar brands. Then some cheap Nike's or whatever for running.

Haven't jumped on the casual boost train yet, but really looking forward to finally trying these Crazy Explosives on the basketball court. Ugly as sin, but they felt great on my feet.

Nike Janoski classics- yes, would buy again. Mine are like 4 years old now.

Nike Air Max 90- yes, these are supremely comfortable and look rad.

Vans checker slips- been wearing these since I was a little kid.

Vans Classic reds- again, had these around for years.

My taste in shoes doesn't change often

Salomon XA Pro 3D GTX. Ridiculous name, extremely comfortable and versatile shoe. I'm on my third pair, and plan on buying a fourth. Use them for everything from the job to hiking.

The NMDs get some insane hype, especially the Primeknit versions. The OGs were treated like a Yeezy release, with an online queue and everything.

Adidas Ultra Boost - Don't think I will buy another running shoe if it doesn't have boosts. What others said previously it's very tough to get the pairs you want when quantities are limited.

Vasque boots: I've owned the Breeze GTX 1 and 2 as well as the St. Elias GTX. I use them for work and put a lot of miles on them.

I went through them, could never find a comfortable fitting Stormbuck, pity such a nice looking simple boot which I find hard to find. Kemptons were paradise, second you slip them on, godly, Shame they don't make them anymore. Tried the Clarks Desert boots, they look ace but the fit around the ankle is just too loose for me, going smaller just kills the toe box, pity again.

Expensive asics and rebooks are amazing. Never buying nike trash again like my teenage days.

Got some adidas work shoes, build quality is ass though.

I'm on my third pair of Adidas Superstars.

Unfortunately I should've looked closer as they were a tad defective out of the box. They still have another year or so of wear left in them though.

I like Clark's and Doc Martin's. Both have offerings that can be business casual, but also fine for a night out on the town / day-to-day wear. Not too expensive, either.

When it comes to sneakers I honestly just ask the teenagers working at the store what they would buy. I couldn't even tell you what brand any of my three pairs of sneakers are. They cost a lot, though, lol, that's for sure.,

I can wear sneakers to work and i have a hard time finding work shoes thatcdont kill my feet so i usually end up with sneakers.

Im currently switching between
Black and gold Ewing 33's and black and white Jordan 6's.

I have to say the Ewings are some of the most comfy kicks in years ive worn in years.

I've been rocking Nike Flyknits for my workout / running shoe for over a year now and they are fantastic. For the first time in forever, I'm about to just order whatever newest version of the shoe is available now instead of researching all possibilities.
