Only missing 2 shrines... the world is fucking huge, don't know where to look now...

Also i think i have all armor sets, but is there a set that let you walk faster? (except the sheika one at night)

Use the Sheika Slate tracker. Y on the map i think

Reposting question:

So i want to play Zelda digital but got the game bundled physical.

I have like 30 hours in it with no end in sight.

If i sell the physical version and buy it digital, will my save carry over? Or will the OS be funky about having two "versions" on the account, etc?

(Getting very tired of swapping 12S and Zelda out, especially considering one wants Zelda EVERYWHERE)

Northern map question

going to my second beast after the elephant, and I decided it would be the lizard. But how do you go up death mountain without getting burned. Its not about temperature since I have an ice blade equipped but I still burn to death. Is there a way around this or do I leave it for later?

Yes there is a way around it you can do now.

Try the stables before the mountain.

Fireproof elixirs.

This is exactly how I did it as well. No idea if it's even possible otherwise (well, we're talking about BOTW, so I guess it's actually possible to do some other weird stuff in order to make it happen)

I looked it up on youtube. I suspect the people having problems were using a bow that shoots two arrows, because the door isn't even supposed to close.

I didn't enjoy the Divine Beast bosses all that much either. I've beaten 3 so far and they have all been pretty underwhelming. The last one didn't even get a chance to hit me once. My favorite Zelda bosses were always the ones that felt like puzzles and I'm not getting this from them at all.

I guess that was a small sacrifice to the non-linear structure of the game so I'm not too bummed about it either. At least that's room for improvement (as far as I'm concerned) for the next game.

Two down and not a fan of the Divine Beast bosses.

They don't seem to have a long enough wind-up time for how can damaging and far-reaching their attacks can be.

I really struggled on the Zora one, having not had enough arrows to capitalize on long range damage (I ended up just hurling melee weapons), and with the Gerudo one, after dying a few times to out-of-nowhere attacks, I just brought a ton of arrows and pelted the boss whenever it was getting up from a stun, but it still wasn't an engaging fight.

In truth I find the Divine Beast sections, from the moment you enter to the moment you exit, to be lacking. Good ideas but poor execution.

I've only done the Zora one but I had like 140 arrows because every mob towards the town dropped 5 or 10 arrows. I even put a bow mark there for my map for future reference. I thought it was pretty fun, at first I didn't realize I needed to use
arrows and bombs for the ice though

I am having the worst time with my joycon and their range. It's at the point where I'm getting a pro controller just to deal, which I am not happy about. I have no need for the pro controller, really

is the
hylian
shield unbreakable or just very durable? the guide says durability 800, which makes me think it's not unbreakable. If it can be broken, can it be replaced?

Wait, what are you supposed to do for the riddle in of the songs from the bird guy (not sure, if the German name is the same for English ;) ) near the mushroom shaped rock formation in the west:

I thought I only had to be on shrine pedestal on a night of the blood moon, but nothing happened.

Naked

Did you just keep camping to get the right night?

i haven't done it yet, but it mentions being bare, so I assume you have to stand there without clothes on

Haha, oh man thanks! Don't think I would have guessed that! And no, I just waited paitently for the blood moon and then loaded an earlier save state to make it there in time.
Interstingly enough, the German version said something about being there "like a newborn" - which makes sense now, but for me it just sounded like a usual figure of speech in song lyrics lol

What's everyone's favorite moment so far? Mine was the first time I fought a Molduga (sand worm/whale things from the Switch presentation trailer).

It's clearly intended for you to fight them while riding a sand seal but I was on foot. An NOC had mentioned that they see their prey by sensing vibrations in the sand so I got up onto some nearby rocks for safety. There was no way out except for fast travel but there was no way in hell that I was going to let the game win. I started chucking bombs in the hopes that it would get the beasts attention and it worked! I blew the bombs as the Molduga was eating them to blast it out of the sky which put it in the perfect position for me to glide down and go to town on it. That's right, Breath of the Wild just became Tremors: The Video Game.

Noticed there is a journal in
Impa's
house. So I decided to read it and it mentioned Kakariko has
2
shrines. Wtf, I never thought of there is another one even though there is a Sheikah ball inside the house.

Any tips for snowball bowling? I just can't get it right. No easy money for me :(

Stand roughly between the large rock in the ground and the pebble very near it. Aim to the right as if towards the middle snow covered cedar tree in the distance. Once you find the sweet spot you'll get a strike more often than not.

I went into that fight with no
arrows
lol. Wasn't too bad even so.

Cryo and stasis ftw.

Edit: I really liked the fight.

I've already beat the game, but searching for shrines and collecting loot is quite relaxing... I wish the game was harder.

Is there any post-game combat that is interesting? Occasionally I find a Lynel but that's about it.

Made some real progress today after messing around for the last week. After visiting Impa in Kakariko village on Tuesday I now made my way to
Hatano village
and carried on with the main quest. Now to start hunting down memories!

Bumped in to the Korok dude by a stable and managed to get three full rows in my weapons slot before he decided to leave. I've collected about 90 Korok seeds atm and that's only from travelling in 4 areas of the map.

Okay i'm only missing one shrine, and i think i need to take the orb next to impa to get it.... but how?

There's a quest in Kakariko village, think you have to do most of teh sidequests in the village first before it becomes available

hebra shrine location question
I found a shrine here on Lake Kilsie and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get to it. I can see it through a little crack in the wall but I can't even sidle through with all my equipment off and I looked all around for another opening but I don't see one. Anyone know how to get in here? I want to be able to warp back lol

So, I originally wanted to explore the rest of one particular area, but then a NPC talked something about a great fairy in an entire different region, so I said: fuck it! I'm hunting fairies now! So far, I've still only found the very first one.

thanks, i thought i did them all, but i was missing
the one where i need to find the firefly, after that it triggered the quest for the orb

You need to drop down to it.

I've found three great fairies so far. I have no clue what region the fourth (and final?) is in. I'm sure I'll stumble upon her eventually.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, you need to climb into a weird cave, it's partially hidden so comb around the cliff faces above and around it.

Man, the giant
mechanical bird thing
in the western sky is giving me the creeps - encountering it in the near for the first time during a blood moon night didn't help at all!
Can't wait to see what it actually is!

It's entirely possible that the shrines you are missing are part of shrine quests. I've had it so the game didn't report a nearby shrine on the tracker because it was secretly hidden by some quest.

Most people find the last one in the desert.
Right in the corner of the map, under the leviathan skeleton you can see on the map

That was my third one. I don't actually want to know where the one I'm missing is. I'm sure it will be super obvious like the other three fairies and the
horse god.

I don't think so because their village lore says they've got to keep that ball specifically for a great hero as it will assist him in saving the world. That's why we're not allowed to have it.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yay. my trip to Hyrule Field was a total success. Got all the materials I needed, now all that's left to gather for me is two
Shooting Star pieces
>.<

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You do get that orb once you've done all sidequests in Kakariko

Don't know if old, but I found this to be very cool.

Another one of those things were you can't believe it actually worked. This game...

^^^ SPOILER!
*It's inside a dungeon, so spoiler alert for the people who don't want to see any of that*
