Incredible stuff really. I assume you have given the dog meat for him to react that way to you?

I'm playing the game but this gif is not mine but I think you don't need feed the dog.

Protip; if you fee the dog three apples or meat he will lead to a chest that contains a Fragment Star.

Not sure if they reset after a Blood Moon, but I can't seem to find it again.

Nice! Thanks!

How do you find out how many heart you actually need for the MS?

Did I just missed it when they explained it? Like I got it when they explained the concept but I can't remember seeing a specific number anywhere.

statis+ is really helpful for some enemies but it's not an instant win for the big guys because it lasts like a second, a second and a half maybe.

It is very very funny to see some yomi clan dumbass get hit by twenty swordstrikes at once and then go flying off a cliff

It actually astounds me how much I'm still discovering in what you could call my post game, and I'd gone up all the towers before doing my fourth beast.

Though I'm feeling comfortable in saying Gerudo Highlands region is the weakest area, its entire gimmick seems to be yanking chests out of snow, not helped that Hebra next door is a much vaster and more well designed snowy mountain area.

In other news I got Link's WCW wrestler La Parka attire and when you go to dye it you basically go full luchadore instead, these dye based touches man, up there with the varying barbarian paint patterns.

if you have the stasis upgrade this whole section is a breeze

Or Bananas
Or Sheikah stealth suit

count me as having all of the above at that point, I pretty much exclusively used bananas though because how can you not?

Look

I love this game

But the gyro puzzles need to die in a fire.

I just did my first gyro puzzle game and have zero complaints. Actually, it was super fun and the controls were super precise, i got it on my first try.

So far i have none of the complaints i keep hearing about this game.

I think the game world is scaling, I'm getting a lot of +attack weapons that'd normally be like 40 but are 50 dmg. Just ran into a silver mob and they dropped gemstones when I killed them and they were tough as hell.

The gyro puzzles are literally my biggest issue. I mean, I got them and they weren't that hard, but these kinds of motion control puzzles aren't fun. They're a chore. Leave that kind of game design in the past with the Wii, Nintendo.

Of course it's not an instant win, but it allows you to deal more damage or prevent the enemy from doing damage. That's worth a lot. Also don't forget that a big enemy is staggered for another second or so if you hit them during stasis, so if you started a Charged attack with an axe or a greatsword you'll be able to continue it beyond just the duration of the Stasis.

The specific is never given anywhere. Deku tree only mention once possible not having enough but that I could try if I wanted...didn't get till after upgrading like fours hearts from what I had O_O

Yeah, the rain sucks.

I'm about 10-ish hours in, and while I'm enjoying the fuck out of the game, and am addicted to it like crack, I don't feel like I'm making much progress.

For the cold areas,
buy the outfit set in Rito Village

Regarding fire and lava areas,
a stable near the entrance to Death Mountain / Eldin sells some Fireproof Elixers, and there's also a sidequest at the Southern Mines that will give you some Fireproof Armor in exchange for some Fireproof Lizards in the area
Thanks for the info.
I don't think I've found Rito Village yet, only Kakariko Village, Hateno Village, and Zora's Domain. What region of the map (directionally) is that located?

Wait, you have to have a certain number of hearts to get the MS? Also, do you get a quest for it later?
I updated my post to spoiler tag the bit about the
Master Sword, but yeah, I dug up instructions on how to get it, and when I found it, yeah, I wasn't able to pull it out because I didn't have enough health. The act of taking it from its resting place saps your health as a test of your worthiness.

If we take the shrines as micro dungeons, I wish they had treated the towers like mini dungeons, making it more of a challenge to get to the top.

oh noooe, my
hylian
shield broke

to get it back it I have to to buy a house, build a town and to a quest that leads me all around the world? is thar right? damn :(
how much does it cost to get the shield back?

also, are the other good shield against guardians? I probably reflected way too many of those laser beams

Some of them are challenging especially cause early on I was trying to find that maraca shaking fatty.

3,000 Rupees plus some wood to build the house, 3,000 for the Hylian Shield.

Just a word of advice the building the Town side quest requires a lot of wood...so get chopping.

I haven't gotten the shield yet as I want to get the town built up first before getting and then relaxing that it will break any time soon.

Parrying the laser beam is a better way of dealing with the guardians as it doesn't affect your shield durability and it counters the laser back to them.

You need 13 hearts. I think after the dungeons everyone will ask you why you don't have it when you beat them without it
Lol. Been just putting points into stamina for the most part.

Figured they'd point me in the direction of it at some point.

So I'm in the desert
and I need to rent a sand seal but no one's there to let me rent them. I've seen someone there before but now I can't rent one because she's not there. Is there something I have to do to get her back or does she just come back at certain times of the day?

There's two at the side exits within the city.

fuck, I wish I knew, now I basically lost that shield for nothing
can you parry the beams with all shields?
