Hearty foods by themselves create Full heal + x heart meals. Hearty truffles, hearty radishes, and durians, if I recall. Great and easy way to load up on full heals is just to cook them one by one.

There's also a clam (don't remember where to find it) and a salmon you can find in a small pond in front of Rito village that give the same effect.

wow this game continues to amaze me.

i was hunting a deer from a cliff. the deer was some distance below me. i killed it with my bow, and a swarm of Lizalfos (about 3) swarmed out of nowhere and ate the raw meat left behind by the deer.

i proceeded to bomb all with my bomb arrow for taking my prize.

TL;DR Padlet worked well, was sorry to have to remove it.

He basically says two completely opposite things. Was that misreported, or is he maybe each time saying what his audiences wanted to hear? I'm confused.

I mean he's probably just trying to avoid saying "yah we hacked this intended feature out so we could push the switch version"

Just attempted to cook something, after I cooked it , it shows 4 read hearts but on the first heart it has a 5 next to it. What does this mean? ' steamed fruit'

4 hearts is the max the UI space allows for display. So if it restores more there's a number telling you how many.

this game gave me more "wow" moments than any other open world game I've ever played. it also helped with my open world fatigue, now I can't wait to buy horizon later this year :D!!

what were your biggest "woah" or "wow" moments?
mine were (dragon spoilers):
freeing Naydra and meeting Farodra while walking over a bridge. suddenly this gigantic dragon emerged from under the bridge. god damn.

Where did maraca guy go? He's disappeared after our first meeting.

Damn I didn't know you could do both round and square bombs at the same time and detonate them separately...disclaimer, i'm like 60 hours in.

Stables along the story path usually. Check the Hyrule Field stable?

Today I finished a shrine that legitimately made me pause and wonder, wait, is that it? I used two runes one after the other and then the altar room was accessible in less than a minute.

Screw whoever thought it was an awesome idea to have rain make it difficult to climb AND make five to ten minute rainstorms. I'm currently waiting out a rainstorm to climb out of a hole, and this is getting old.

Yeah it happens way too frequently and its weird they didnt invent an item to help in the rain.

Probably the same shrine that just made me realize the same. Let me guess
after setting off one you got to the shrine entrance but it was closed off? The one where you launch bombs and set it off to hit a switch suspended in a cage in the air?

Nah, this was legitimately... that was it. It was finished in one minute. No tricks. It was done. There was another chest that took me another minute to reach but that required zero puzzle solving either.

I was swimming when I saw him first. Haha. Heard the music and sound effect, turned the camera around and was like "holy crap".

One of my complaints with this game is the rarity of flint, it means i almost never create my own campfires. You get more opal and precious stones than flint in this game! And i can't bring myself to use fire arrows to start campfires.

Rito dungeon
feels kinda underdeveloped after you did
zora's
.

Also lynel bow fucks that boss up so hard.

Parental Controls app says I've played Zelda for a grand total of 12 hours today.

HOLY

MOLY

I played 15 hours straight the friday it came out.

no shame

I do want the switch activity log thing to actually unlock so I can feel proper disgust though.

Done, thanks.

One more thing, you can't light a cooking bowel with your fire arrow? You would need light the torch first then the bowel?

I'm not sure if shooting an arrow at the bowl works, but if it's doesn't you can always shoot a fire arrow at the ground then quickly take out a wooden weapon and swipe at the fire.

Holy crap have you guys played this with headphones?

Its such a different experience. So many sights and sounds in every direction. I feel like I unlocked something new.

My system still hasn't flipped over to how many hours I've played for Zelda or Shovel Knight. I might turn back on the PCA just to see...assuming it actually kept track of anything.

I'm still missing quite a few Shrines...some Side Quests
like the Hide and Seek one in Kakariko
I'm just befuddled of how to move forward with.

So one quick question guys, is there anyway I can store
mipha's trident
and
revali's bow?
Those are weapons I really dont want to break because they hold actual sentimental value.

Get a house.

I like using revalis bow though, it's like a better lynel bow.

Revali is an asshole anyway.

Buy the house in Hateno and install weapon holders, you only get 3 of each type tho (Shield, Weapon, Bow)

Yeah that was far and away the easiest dungeon for me. The beginning when youre getting in was really cool tho, if a bit easy.

In other news, is there only one hyrule shield in the entire game? Of it breaks is it gone for good?

Farming ore is just as fast. Run around Death Mountain bashing boulders and you'll have a stockpile of gems you can unload for a few thousand in like 30 minutes. Can look for shrines and Korok seeds in the meantime. You can often find caves full of 10 ore deposits too, basically mini secrets.

I finally figured out how to make my way through
The Lost Woods
. This game is so goddamn good. I was banging my head against that thing and while I stood there listening to that perfectly tense and weighty music I noticed
the wind blowing the embers of my torch in the direction I thought I was supposed to go
. Can't believe something so simple and brilliant actually worked.

What happens when you break
the divine beast reward weapons
, anyway?

I know you can repair the Zora one... Not sure about the rest. I only have that and
the one from the gorons
.

How in the hell do you get the second tier upgrade for the champion tunic?

2 horn chunks of the dragon you freed earlier? I haven't seen that one ever since that.

As far as I know
NPCs in each village can build new weapons, but they ask for a diamonds.
