Yup. All of the other Zeldas where every npc has a schedule does it way better.

7 (Good): A 7 represents a favorable slice of entertainment that ought to prove welcome in the right house. Not the most glamorous, polished, or jawdropping, but most definitely good for a chuckle or two.
Wat? No way Breath of the Wild has the best town life imo for a zelda game. NPC's have shedules and stuff shelter for rain and bad weather sleep etc.
Yeah, that comment was kind of ridiculous. NPCs in general are far more dynamic than they've ever been .
Similar story. Colleague is a major PC gamer who had no interest in Switch and then watched a 3 hour Zelda stream and hunted a Switch down last weekend.
Jim gave Fallout4 a 9.5
I can't really take his opinions seriously.
I have to say I think almost every other 3D Zelda since Majoras Mask does town life better than Breath of the Wild, and that's one of my favorite parts of a Zelda game.
I will say though I've only been to Kakariko and Hateno. Maybe later towns are more distinct.
These two villages are pretty amazing though. Aside from Clock Town and Skyloft, the towns and villages in past 3D Zeldas didn't really give me a reason to go back and just soak it in. The non-human villages in this game completely beat the past games as well, so much more personality. Give them a visit.
Can I sell all of the ancient parts after I've upgraded the runes?
well that were some big hits to the meta score, jims review alone wouldn't have done anything to the 98 guys. Thank the reviewer of this slant magazine, never heard of them but they gave it a 6/10 and they also reviewed No Man's Sky with a 9/10.
So you can guess what my opinion is about them lol.
Well, the game is called "Breath of the Wild". I think it's obvious that the environmental "tracks" are the sounds of nature, and i think it works amazingly with the artstyle and the atmosphere.
Tracks in villages, when riding a horse, in dungeons, shrines and field boss battles are always on point. Really can't think of a bad track for now.
I finished the one inZora's domain. The feels
Doesn't like BotW because it's too big.
Gives No Man's Sky a 9.
Seems to check out.
And this is really nitpicky, but I wish it zoomed in on their faces like the other games did. I can't really see their expressions half the time.
The sound design is absolutely incredible, I agree. There are themes in this game that are among the best in the series, I just wanted more
I dont particularly dislike any tracks.

Does this magazine have the same person reviewing every game?
I think the town life in BotW is really well done. The characters have tons of personalities, but none of it is forced onto the player and is literally left there for you to choose to talk to each person and learn more about them and their role in the town. A lot of it links together and there are some really interesting stories in each town.
The difference between BotW and previous Zelda though, is that the personality of each town itself is much more subdued. The more "traditional" ones are the ones with the main races because that's where things get really dramatic. For the Hylian villages and communities, it's just a bunch of people who are trying to survive and live in the world, without being linked to grand prophecies, ancient heroes, and what not. This is a defeated Hyrule. So there's definitely a missing feeling of the first town being this hub filled with important people who are all supporting Link and the story. That feeling comes from exploring the places which are still fighting against the loss 100 years ago.

WW is the only non-MM 3D Zelda game that I would say has a "good" town system. (And now BotW of course).
TP's was essentially nonexistant and SS's single town was too static to be engaging.
Some of the tracks (Lost Woods, Hyrule Castle, Main Theme, Daruk's theme) are standout. I do agree that it needs more bombastic, gorgeous tracks like LttP's Dark World. I would have killed for a Dark World remix, I am glad they use this opportunity to reuse, major nostalgia blast.Dragon Roost Island
I'm not sure about that. i haven't got them all yet, but I found one which cost 1000 rupees () before I found another which cost 500 rupees (horse resurrection one).one you can see from Tabantha Tower
I bought the house, also watched hudson hilariously leave with sad music and everything as if we were best friends

Everyone has their tastes. Who gives a shit if it doesn't line up with yours.
The fact that some of you are taking Jim's review to heart so seriously is pretty pathetic.

Where can you usually find a Korok leaf? I don't have much trouble finding them randomly but I am asking this for my brother.

For as much as I love this game, the lack of enemy variety is still a negative for me.
