I have been following them since the IGN days, and fell off the bandwagon with KF. I appreciated the fact he often has a different view on video games, but the main thing that bugged me, was that everything became politicized. In the IGN days, there was some kind of filter on, working for an employee and all that, but on KF, that filter seemed to disappear.

Unfortunately, Colin has a strong right wing fan base and KF's fan base has strongly turned on them and many people are upset that he left. People think they are snakes that back stabbed him publicly. KF and Colin going their separate ways was the right move, but it's going to be interesting how they restore order and move on from this. Colin was a prominent figure on this channel.

I unsubbed from them because Colin was a shithead. I'll gladly jump back in now.

The recent twitter joke and subsequent meltdown weren't a good look, but as someone who has watched KF front the start it's been clear the last year or so that Colin's interest has been waning. He just doesn't seem to have the passion for just playing games and talking about games anymore. He is way more passionate about politics, almost every topic from him on game over greggy show is politics related.

While he is eloquent when he speaks about politics, I rarely agree with him. If he is truly going into some sort of political personality role, I'm not sure if he has the chops for that. He might, who knows.

Sucks he is leaving. As an avid follower of KF, I know Colin isn't a bad dude. Rather, he's a very good person I feel and is often misunderstood. He will be a big loss for the group. I really like Tim, Nick and Greg though so I think they will continue to succeed.

It can't just be about the tweet. I think it runs deeper and it's just not what Colin wants to do anymore, and KF is about promoting a group of "best friends" where everyone is welcome. Maybe his edginess doesn't really vibe with that.

It says that even on a day that is literally supposed to be recognized as the day we stop and think about exactly how we treat women in our daily lives, and how harshly they have been treated in just the gaming industry alone, that not only do you try and pull the shitty joke, you double down on being confronted by it, by refusing to acknowledge you could ever be wrong. That really, "international women's day" means nothing because you're still just going to go for the low hanging fruit jokes and never think twice about what you're saying, and think "Oh I don't actually believe this it's totally okay to joke about it" as if that's some sort of magical get out of trouble free card to pull every time someone calls you on your shit.
