Yup, same location.

btw, i just checked craiglist randomly and there's a couple of switches for sale in NYC, but no way I'm paying $100 or $200 extra just to get it from a scalper.
are you 100% sure on the color? neon or gray? (if stock wasn't an issue)
Staring at the email from Walmart that says "processing" and the Walmart.com account that says "ordered placed" and "Undefined for Thursday 3/16/17"... Just put me out of my misery Walmart.... lol

I thought about amazon es but the wrong power adapter threw me off. The official Nintendo one is expensive and you can't really find generic 5amp USB c chargers, and I don't want to use an adapter for a power adapter.
Nope. DHL doesn't deliver on Saturdays.
How is there a seller on Amazon selling the gray Switch for $0.01? This is someone phishing for CC info, no?
My amazon.es order was finally delivered but I'm at a company event all day. Only time I've be sad that I'm getting free food and essientially a day off work.
don't even try to purchase thru that user. def phishing
So they recognized the demand for the game but not the console. Makes sense...There are so many copies of Zelda at all the stores I check. Just give me a way to play them!
I wish Amazon US would put up orders for upcoming shipments. Have they taken any orders since the console launched, or was it just the initial preorders?
Sorry I meant with the assumption that they would have a general idea of when they would receive more stock. Like the "this item will be in stock on April 1st 2017" type listing they use from time to time.If they did this people would be even MORE pissed because you'd have no clue on when you'd get your shipment.

Resale prices for both colors are higher on Amazon.com than they were on launch day, which I think is a good sign re: organic demand for the console.
It's clear that a big restock in America is coming soon. It's precisely why Gamestop has been hawking bundles the past two days. They are trying to lock in purchases with guaranteed sales of attached items before the massive wave of just consoles hits multiple retailers.

If a retailer like Amazon is completely in the dark about when they will receive stock than the situation seems pretty bad.
Talked to a WM rep via their chat:
"At this time, it appears that Nintendo Switch Gaming Console with Neon Blue and Neon Red Joy-Con is on backorder. This means that the shipping center nearest you does not have that item. Rest assured, the system is checking other centers for the item so that we can fulfill it for you."
He advised it can take 3-10 business days for their system to find one and either ship it or cancel the order. Meanwhile my card is charged (pending authorization). So coming across one in the wild over the next 10 business days is going to make me suuuuper sad.

This sounds like the gun was jumped on the listing, or too many orders were taken.
Man... I'm almost tempted to return my copy of BotW for Switch, and just get it on WiiU instead. And just go get a Switch later in the year, or whenever an exclusive must-have game comes out. Which... I already have/have played a ton of MK8 and Splatoon. Maybe wait till this fall for Super Mario Odyssey?
I mean, if I DO get a Switch now, I'll probably grab MK8D and Splatoon 2 as they come out, but they're not system sellers to me.
I hate the idea of taking my time on a Nintendo system, but I could be playing Zelda right now on Wii U.

Yes, several people in this thread have received theirs and there are lots of positive reports from elsewhere. UK, Japan, Spain, and Germany Amazon sites all deliver to the US and all have similar or lower prices to US retail with tax. My Spanish order came out to $332 which is only like $5 more than I would have paid here after tax. Since the device is completely region-free, the only downside is needing to buy a plug adapter for the power cord, but those can be found for a few bucks online. So let me get this straight:
Some of you guys are ordering Switches from amazon.es for delivery to North America?
Does that work?

Yes, if you can find one in stock. They're $30 retail. Is there any way to get a North American power cord on it's own?
ok i think I'll venture to Nintendo World NYC now, two avenues away, I'm sure they'll laugh if I ask if they have any Switches but whatevs.

Show them a video of Mario hooked up to a car battery, they'll tell you anything you want to knowInterested to hear what they.
PRESS THEM and ask about restocks and threaten them by saying you have Yoshi locked up in your apartment bathroom and you'll remove his liver and sell it on the black market if they don't cooperate.
