Here's a Punished Link avatar for anyone who wants it

I want to get into the Lost Woods, can I figure out on my own how to travel it or do I need someone or something to do it?

I want to know if it's the first or second option i don't want spoilers, just to know if I will waste my time trying to figure how to tackle it on my own.

Thanks for the anwser.

I figured it out with no guide in just a handful of tries. Didn't take more than ten minutes. Protip:
if you sprint back as soon as the white mist starts appearing, you can usually avoid being warped backwards.

Thats the hardest way! You had to (full answer)
follow the direction of the wind, if you do that you never run into the mist.

The problem with the Rito zone was the quest leading into it was so lame compared to the other, more-involved quests. I don't even remember the name of the surly Birdman who helps you, whereas Sidon was a delightful treat. Plus the bird city barely even felt imperiled. Gorons over here sheltering from periodic lava meteor sieges and y'all bird men... just kinda get blasted when you try and fight the thing? Well go figure!

Oh I know exactly what he wants and where to get it. That's why I said it'll take me maxing out my hearts and armor ;)

I'm actually more afraid to engage in that then fighting the final boss hahahahaha

I'm at 19 hearts, 2 stamina wheels, but I still feel woefully unprepared. I have 2 of the 3 pieces of that set of armor and then I'm gonna max it out (unless maxing it out also requires the same thing I need for the side quest) and make sure I have a ton of arrows and good bows and then I gotta figure out how to do the flurry rush on purpose... oog

You're already over prepared lol. All you really need is actual battle experience with it. Learning its moves and how to dodge or block them are really the most critical aspect of the battle.

I did the Rito zone last and everything about it was disappointing.

The companion Rito was really cool, design and personality wise, but didn't end up doing much.

dude I feel you

fighting those things are far more impossible for me than any dungeon boss, I'm dead before I can even devise a strategy. I guess I could cheese the fight, but I want to feel like the unstoppable force of destruction I am with every other enemy, haha.

I liked it but the problem I had with it was that it felt rushed.
There really wasn't any build up to the dungeon and you never get a chance to know your companion like you did on the other ones. You basically show up, and go to the dungeon.

The dungeon and boss itself was short and easy but I still had fun. It was just noticeable considering I did the Gerudo one before which was absolutely fantastic beginning to end.

That's fair. It really felt like the "first" dungeon you're supposed to encounter but it seems like most are coming across it later in the game.

Oh my god a Yiga Clan master just spawned in a thunderstorm and IMMEDIATELY got hit by lightning. What the fuckkk.
Those Yiga goofballs.

Yeah, the
flight range
took like 20 seconds and there wasn't any urgency in the village. Everyone just seemed more inconvenienced than scared about what might happen. It just felt like Nintendo didnt have enough time to flesh it out. The Rito are cool, the region they live in is cool, flying is cool. I'm sure they bigger plans for this place.

Also,
Revali
is a dick. So I had even less emotional attachment.

Yup. I'd have been more challenged if I didnt go through a bunch of puzzles beforehand and wasn't as well equipped.

Simply walk up to a lit torch with your bow drawn. Your arrow will catch fire, and from there you can move freely over to the door to shoot it through.

LOL, I did it in an even more contrived way.
I lit a torch with blue flame, threw it on the ground in front of the door, placed an octorok balloon on the torch, and shot through the torch flame once if floated in front of the door hole.

Yeah I just need to get better at the parry and dodging. Battling the little Guardians in the Shrines has actually been super helpful in learning how to be more acrobatic when fighting, I just wished they respawned or appeared outside of the Shrines so I could get better at parrying and activating the flurry rush moves.

My current strategy has been to snipe like a bitch but that hasn't been doing too well since they can arc their arrows to get me when I'm hiding hahaha argh!

Some please explain how I can make a fire with wood and a flint. I've tried a few times.

I take the wood out of my inventory and set it on the ground
I set the flint on top of it, it usually rolls slightly off the wood should definitely be close enough. I take out a metal weapon (wood cutters axe for example) and smash the flint.
No fire. :(

The Ceremonial Song

I have the ceremonial trident and I am at the Veiled Falls. I don't exactly understand that song which is of course the riddle. Any help?

Go to the top of the waterfall and line your jump to the platform below. Jump then parachute to slow your fall and before you land press attack to drive the spear onto the platform.

Hold them together on the item screen and drop them on a flat spot.

It's like that sometimes. I guess the spark doesn't hit the wood or something but it will set it on fire.

Personally I use fire chuchu jelly instead of flint. I got like 40 of those.

Lol why did they had to change location names for different languages, that sucks. Also Lago Darman? come on now, it's Darmani, you losers!

Good to know if I ever need to go through there again, but if the way I did it is the hardest way, then it was still pretty easy and didn't take very long, haha.

Welp. Last beast down. Made some ancient arrows. Have all of the iconic and unique weapons. And every side quest missing is nothing so amazing I need to get done.

Tonight I go to Hyrule Castle.

The new town
Tarrey town and the names of characters ending in -son translated to Arkadia and the names starting with Ka-. Or maybe thats how it was on the original script and the english one is the problem.

My only real big compliant is how expensive stuff costs when generating large amounts of Rupees isn't exactly easy or quick. Just discovered a cool secret clothing spot in Gerudo but everything is expensive. I'm not walking around with 800+ Rupees. And even if I was.... that's all going towards the super expensive 3,000 house dream.

BUT WAIT! I GOTTA PAY A GUY 600 RUPEES JUST TO ENTER GERUDO. LIKE COME ON.

That's why I literally laughed when I saw the Sheik costume in Kakariko village. I'm like... "Does the game honestly think I can afford this so early?"

Shrine in Lanayru region
Yo I just unlocked a shrine by riding a fucking deer over a particular spot.
this game craycray.

Money is actually really easy.

Sell
your gems.

I just farmed guardians and sold the pieces. Is not hard to learn the parry timing, even if you die you respawn super close.

Also sell gems and other stuff.

So I already beat all
Divine Beasts, got the Master Sword, even got into the Castle a few days ago and got the Hylian Shield, which i haven´t used in fear of it breaking as I want to use it against Ganon
. I have 90 shrines and 190 seeds, I have barely explored the Desert and I sort of blazed through the initial part of the game, specially the Plateau. I don´t want this game to end...I guess I should explore the Desert :)

Question: Is the ancient bow worth it? What difference does it do from just using ancient arrows with a normal bow? Are any of the ancient weapons worth it?

I've made a killing making elixirs and selling them. I have monster parts coming out the wazoo, just gather critters and brew brew brew!

You could also get all the shirines for the reward. And then start a new file and try to beat ganon without clearing any divine beast.

Yep, I'm thankful I did the Rito quest second. As you say, it's quite lacking in terms of build-up but also because
the power you get is really great for exploration, made climbing Lanayru a breeze.
Though
flying high in the air to neutralize the divine beast was a pretty damn cool setpiece.

Yo, here's a secret (snowy region spoilers)

Snow bowling. Aim at a particular spot and you can get 300 rupees every one or two minutes. It's located literally right next to that region's tower.
