I liked the wirefu of the Disney era. In fact the explosions and wirefu was so good the Sentai peeps hired the man that did it in Power Rangers.

I heard the reason for that is Disney hated all the violence, so they demanded more explosions to try and make it look more action-packed.

Time Force has some good stuff but shit like Wild Force and Lost Galaxy are hammy as fuck. In a good way but that shit is beyond over the top.

It's part of the charm, it's like old Samurai films when they gush out hundreds of gallons of blood when they get cut. The American fights seem so sterile without the sparks and explosions.
You know yeah they should have just stocked up on water bottles.

In Rider. Sentai having VFX spam is unfortunately not even news.
There's of course DTV and online shows now, but TV series are visibly troubled which is odd because themes are still pretty serious from time to time, but showing brawls, that's over the line.
I stopped watching when the blue ranger became Shazam.
Not really sure what season that was.

What was the reason for the Alien/Aqua Rangers to be included? I remember missing a number of episodes around this time or just straight up don't remember them. I also think I had sort of lost interest or just couldn't watch until Zeo hit. I remember Kimberly leaving and Cat replacing her but even then being confused by this Alien Ranger arc.
It's been a while but I think pretty much all the ranger acting in Time Force was solid for the most part. Some iffy stuff with the sixth ranger here and there but the primary cast was okay. There is a good bit of melodrama in that show though I think that might turn some off.
