Well, I held off on it as long as I could, but now I have nothing left to do but enter Hyrule Castle. It wasn't that bad to get all the Korok Seeds though. I thought it would be a pain in the ass.

Finished the game -- GOAT, IMO. The ending wasn't fantastic, but the game was so incredible as to make up for it.

125 hours all up, 25% complete, though I'm feeling that's putting way too much emphasis on Korok seeds.

Created a new profile almost straight away to do a 3 heart playthrough. I never, ever re-play games, with the previous exception of my former GOAT game, Resident Evil 4.

Can you have multiple profiles for saves on WiiU?

Could you wait for the DLC and use your time to stock up on everything you could need to fire up zelda at random and go nuts with your inventory...a few times? How're your compendium shots looking? Good photography skills?

^ My plans for end game stuff. Don't want the fun with it to end :P

How many hours in are you?

wow what a great game. i hope they shake things up more in the next Zelda game.

i hope they make the next Zelda game, the Legend of Link, where Link becomes consumed by the triforce of Power, and Zelda has to rescue Ganon to stop Link

I want to play as Ganondorf or Zelda one day.

I'm over 115 now. 90 shrines done, and I'm getting close to all clothing fully upgraded.

Nice! The later upgrades are so costly. Not sure if I want to grind for the parts.

Freaking Yiga Clan jerks were attacking me while I was near a Shrine. I didn't even bother fighting them. I ran straight for the shrine. Lol

And I suck at catching fairies. They run so fast.
I had one of those wieners start shit with me when I was trying to get away from a Guardian's laser sight. Pains in the ass.

Anyways... Ganon has been vanquished and Hyrule has been saved... I couldn't resist the urge any longer to take the fight to that calamitous bastard. Still have 60 Shrines to find now, though.

What a game.

Does the end change
at all if you recover all of the captured memories? Zelda made a comment about Link not having remembered everything or something to that effect during the final battle.

Oooh my god my compendium shots are garbage lol. I had to buy around 50 weapons, 2 enemies, 3 creatures though. So that leaves a LOT of shots that are bad.

My inventory isn't looking so hot either. I might stock up on a ridiculous amount of bomb arrows and ice weapons now that I think about it.

Not sure how to check hours on the Wii U. But I have been playing the game every day since launch, so I would guess I am close to 100 hours by now.

** Master Sword Talk**

By the time you get it you will be facing enemies that you will break your sword on in one fight easily.
So it's mostly good for not wasting weapons you like on random encounters but still using a cool one, it would have saved you the effort of having too many extra weapons that you don't mind wasting on you always and would have made it really rewarding after putting up with losing a lot of nice weapons up until that point.

As it is, it's sort of that but also kinda meh without being able to recover after shitty fights so you feel like you shouldn't use it that much and if you do, make sure to break it.
I have read this sentiment before and I don't understand it, the master sword immediately became my standard weapon as soon as I got it and I used it as often as possible. it makes sense to me so I don't have to break my good weapons in my arsenal.
I did break it often on purpose though when I felt (or knew) it was gonna be emtpy soon.

Is there anyway to directly view the pictures I take on the camera or upload them? Or am I stuck using the screenshot button? Pictures aren't that big and I don't like the blue filter over them.

Beat the game again but did it with just 3 hearts. Took me all day to prep everything out and get a feel of the (spoilers of hyrule castle. End game.)
blight Ganons. Man that lightning blight ganon is a pain. Was able to avoid his lightning quick attacks by getting close to the exit and countering with flurries. Ganon wasn't that tough once you learn his patterns.
I think it only took me around 10 or so hours. Not too shabby on my second playthrough.

My playtime shows as over 30 hours now. Just returned to great plateau to upgrade stamina a couple of notches at temple of time. Got a full extra wheel now. Still at three hearts. Right after upgrading stamina I hopped eastward, and found my first wild horse. Caught a purple one. Good stamina but only one star in strength.

It's mine too, but it would have been nice to worry even less about picking up and making space for disposables.

That'll be a tonne of hours right there :) Don't forget you'll need to stock up for elixirs too.

There should be a channel called Activity Log with some green bars for the icon, somewhere in the home menu.

Best compendium shots are selfie shots.

Yes, I'm a Bokoblin Shield and not that thing behind me. And ignore the explosion behind me.

Few steps into the
Tarreytown
quest and it is just so damn charming. All these characters Ive encountered during my travels intertwining like this. Amazing.

Maybe I got Zelda on the brain but Samurai Jack's visual and audio design reminds me of BotW so much. Long, lingering shots on nature with only the sounds of nature for sound. Jack and BotW both highlight the beauty of nature.

I kind of want to go back and read the arguments of "Exploring an empty world will be boring" versus "No actually it's realistic."

Like, no one made allowances for the world not being empty.

This game is just a pleasure to play. Did most of the main stuff and now I'm at the castle.

The
music
is sublime and I love that I can seemingly
reach Ganon through any number of ways.

Got around 13 hearts and some heavy 40-60 weapons. What was you guys armor rating before the final fight? I just started upgrading some of the
ancient
armor stuff. Got it to 12.

Also, is the last memory in or near the castle? Kind of looks like it. Crazy how most
of the scenes from that awesome trailer could, for the most part,
be entirely missed.

There is a weird piano track that plays sometimes while riding a horse. Does this signify something? It sounds almost distorted or sped up.

The idea that someone could play this game without experiencing this side quest makes me so sad—I stumbled into it fairly early, and realized how easy it would be to never know it existed.

Wow, finished up those last two dungeouns faster than I thought. I loved the inclusion and execution of Shrines, but the main areas were really poorly done.

The world is really good though and mostly props the failures up. A success overall, I'd say.

So I'm on a Shrine on Dueling Peaks and its weird. There is a sign in the shrine thats like another shrine reflects this shrine on something. Its Sha Ree or something. I already beat the other shrine but this one has balls in circles but there arent enough balls.

There's a shrine nearby. The shrine you're in, where the balls are when you first come in, you have to put it in that order for the 2nd shrine. And vice-versa. That's why it says the shrines answer each other's puzzles.

Seriously. I dont think anyone would ever expect that side quest to lead into this amazing thing. Its one of my favorite video game quests in general.

Its funny how every time I visit Akkala, it rains like a mofo but as soon as I touch down on
Tarreytown
, the clouds part and the sun starts to shine.

I love how the BGM of
Tarreytown
changes as you
bring more and more characters to it
. More instruments get added and it goes from a soft sleepy melody to something more robust
like the town itself
. Really neat touch.

I cannot find Hetsu after upgrading my inventory slots at Kakariko.

Where is he after he goes away that one time?

This drove me crazy for a long time, but I eventually stumbled upon him. Given he told you he was heading to
Korok Forest
, head in that direction and see if he
maybe got sidetracked at a rest stop.

Went back and kicked ass as two shrines that destroyed me before. They were moderate and major tests of strength.
Stasis+
is becoming pretty useful in some fights.

I ate special food to get to the town I needed to through a cold area. Actually now that I think about it, maybe I could have gone a different way. But I'm definitely overheating somewhere else that I want to go so I'll need to figure out how to get there or look it up in a guide.

I will say this.

The
Rito
"dungeon" felt super easy and almost rushed. Like the other two I have done had set up and story beats..here is was just go here, hey do this, hey meet this person, go do the thing, okay done bye. Weird.

Yup, it was super rushed. I wish I did that dungeon second or first. I still liked it but it was a little too abrupt.

Sorry if it's already been discussed, but do we know if there is a change in the Blood Moon mechanic once all four beasts are finished? Since finishing them, I've had Blood Moons at the weirdest times. Including just now, getting three in one night (10:25pm/12:00AM/12:55am in game time). At first I thought maybe it's Ganon's way of causing an onslaught, but three in one night? seems excessive.

This is not actually a spoiler at all but about Guardians...

So I snuck up on a non-mobile Guardian and hit it repeatedly and it just kept shooting a laser beam off to the distance every time I hit it.. It was cool but was that supposed to happen?
