Any hint (not exact location) on where to find a Great Fairy Fountain? I just need the NPC who talked about it, if possible.

Already found the fountains in
Kakariko, Tabantha, and near Tarrey Town

It's in the desert.

South west of Gerudo Town.

That's crazy that you managed to get all korok seeds but are still missing 1 area... Did you check the spring at the northwest of Hebra? I randomly stumbled upon it when I was trekking the mountains, small isolated area at the edge if the map, only had ores there.
Yeah there are two hotsprings in that region and I found both of them.
Jesus, I'm at like 90 hours and I'm at 28% completion. Either I'm slow as hell or you're a wizard. Did you just use a guide for the seeds?
I played normally without a guide, until about the 350 Korok Seed mark. Then I went out and bought the guide to mop up the rest, as well as anything else I missed in the game.

Man I just watched a couple runs on YouTube and there's so much I didn't think of!
Of course I could've used an ancient arrow on that Lynel in Hyrule Castle... of course I could've also just come in the back and not had to dodge all the guardians... of course I could've remembered that you can use Stasis on enemies (including bosses)...

It starts in Hateno. You need to buy
a house
there.

Oh, didn't know it was connected to that! Thanks.

Ok I'm like 40 hours in and have 3 korok seeds. How on earth do I find more? The ones I have got are from under a rock or popping some hanging thing.

See those pinwheels? Go near them and pop the balloons using arrows?

See those black puzzle blocks? Move one block so that two images will be identical.

See those water lillies forming a circle in rivers and lakes? Go dive inside the circle.

Basically, anything that looks out of place, there's a Korok there.

Probably a stupid question, but how the hell do i cook elixirs? Simply cooking stuff only lead to dubious food :-/

Make elixirs by mixing bugs or lizards with monster parts. For example, Hightail Lizard + Keese Wing.

I did a little rundown of some of the types here.

Ha, wow. Thanks! So I need to start to look for something out of the ordinary

That's awesome!

I wish there was a clothing set bonus to find for rain climbing.
I bet it will be a "useful item" in DLC Nintendo mentioned. They would be the kind of assholes to not only charge extra for it, but months after everyone already needed it.

Edit: That said, the best way to climb in the rain is to hop on and get around 5 grabs before hitting the jump up button before you slip. You'll jump then immediately slip, but you'll be higher up than if you had tried to slow climb the whole way or if you had jumped immediately. Then keep following that rule, 5 grabs and a jump. Sometimes you'll slip after only 4 grabs and that is annoying, but generally you'll climb higher this way. I haven't tried it with the climbing gear to see if the added speed allows higher a average of grabs before you slip.

Yeah me too. Kind of expected better of Nintendo. Not affected my enjoyment of the game, but would have been really cool to stumble across those in-game.

Went to search how much a SSB Link Amiibo was going for thinking it shouldn't be that bad since it's a common character and an older Amiibo. Nope. Seeing it for like $50 everywhere. Forget that then...

I mean, look at how much cool shit is locked behind this stuff (not to mention randomly awarded once per day)

That's pretty shitty.

I fucking hate Amiibos because of stuff like this.
For those that really are annoyed by this, unless I'm mistaken, you can buy a spoofer...

(I'm torn myself, I *have* the original link Amiibo, but I'm reluctant to open the box, and I don't think I have a spare one)

I'm torn. 70h in, I've done a lot in the game, 90 shrines, I can go to the Hyrule Castle. Do I go in to fight the final boss or finish at least all the shrines ? Do more sidequests ? :/

My Sheikah Slate lost its map functionality while exploring a part of the desert. Any way to prevent this?

Speaking of Gerudo Desert, this is probably the best desert area I've played in a video game.

Last night I finally uncovered the last part of the map.
Rito area
. To my surprise I've really done well in the shrine department. I think I have 94 shrines already. It's at a point where I get annoyed when I can't locate some (not in an angry way). Gonna do the last Divine Beast later today and then want to go back and investigate the north west because that place kicked my ass when I initially looked around for an hour or so. Really want to take on the Lynel there and I gotta find the bones. I wonder if Kass and I have met everywhere in the world as I'm curious if we will see each other in
Rito Village
. I'm basing this on what he told me just outside at the stable. Who knows. Maybe I did all his quest shrines maybe I'm missing 1. I mean there are 108 shrines or so right?

I still have yet to find 1 specific Great Fairy. I wonder if she's hiding in the great northwest.

I did the Tarrey Town sidequest.
It had a charming conclusion and while the actual mechanics of the quest were "chop down some trees and talk to four people" I had fun searching for the "sons" and was excited when I noticed someone had that specific name. The rewards for it are absolutely amazing as well. Armor, cheap arrows, ores... it basically becomes a new hub town if you need to stock up. I stumbled upon that area really early in the game and wondered why they would make such a large area seemingly for only a goddess statue, but it had a tremendous payoff.

+65 hours in, I only have one divine beast to go and two more towers to unlock. What a ride, guys, I don't want it to end.

Once you finish the game, is there a new way to find shrines? I mean, at least in which region to look for or something? Because the map is quite big. I already have the sensor activated all the time.

Without spoilers on the endings, are there different endings depending on what I've completed? Is it shrine related?

I think the ending depends on how many of the memories you've seen, including the ones that unlock from visiting various locations and the ones you get from clearing he divine beasts.

Rain should only cause slipping if you try to jump upwards. Having to wait for rain to pass, especially as it extinguishes camp fires, is pretty ridiculous. I'd much prefer if rain just meant you have to traverse more slowly and carefully.

There's just two endings. Regular ending and extended ending. You get the latter by completing all of the main quests (i.e. Clear all divine beasts and recall all memories).

later in the game, hinox are a joke

just glide on their belly

charge an attack, which will also unleash urbosa's thunders

if it isn't already dead, just whack at him while he wakes up

profit!

Yep, killed one before I saw the red HP bar lol.

Minor spoilers, but I decided to pay a visit to Hyrule Castle early (I only have 1 divine beast defeated so far) to obtain the
Hylian
Shield. Then, just minutes later, before I'd even left the castle, I ran into a shock-wielding lizalfos, leading to this heart-stopping (no pun intended) moment:

When I first started looking for the shield, I couldn't see it at all, so I was greatly afraid that it was lost forever. lol....

As far as I know, there is only 2 ending.
1 for speedrunners
1 for completing main quests

The game doesn't scale bosses so you might want to try Ganon before you're too OP.
You can always come back and complete what you didn't finish after beating it because the last save is just before Ganon and will not take in account if you beaten it.

Hahahahaha that's hilarious.

I'm thinking of doing a quick run to the castle for the very same reason. I don't need to know exactly where, but was it difficult to find?
