Its kind of a victory lap if you do all the Divine Beasts. You should be more than ready.

I did everything, got all 120 shrines, upgraded the best armor to 4stars and I think Ganon is by far the hardest enemy of the game, I expected him to be a pushover like the 4 beast bosses, but he is definitely not. And I killed plenty of silver lynels.

once an image is added to the compendium you can cancel it from your storage and it stays in the compendium.
I wish the picture would be added to the compendium even if you choose "discard" I'm annoyed at deleting picture all the time (the photograph there's in me want a perfectly exposed and positioned photography in an interesting pose with good lighting :/ It's sometimes tricky with some enemies)

does completing the compendium give you anything? do you need to scan the bosses too? because if so I can't do that anymore
I've been told that there is a way to acquire boss pictures from someone in the game.
I've read here you can (quite the logical NPC to ask to, in fact), but I haven't tried yet.

Anything missable beside the bosses?

The boss in the Divine Beast Gerudo... to hell with his spamming moves. 1 hit ko crap.
Even with 20+ hearts?

It's pretty easy/cheap to have plently of hearts, when
durian
+
radish
, two easy-to-find elements, gives you
full heal + 7-10 hearts
...

Dammit. I was hoping it would be a good challenge so I have reason to keep exploring and getting better gear.
I finished my first dungeon with 4 hearts and starting gear... You don't need anything for them.

Is there anything in the Gerudo labyrinth to find except for a shrine?
Rupees at least, if I remember correctly. I don't recall special weapon in this one, but I may be wrong (I should have written those, I didn't know at the time that the non-chest ones respawn)

So you're saying that it's absolutely worthwhile to keep upgrading my gear and hearts to better prepare for Ganon?

61 shrines done, officially over halfway. I don't want them to end!

I also finished the Captured Memories quest.
I was really intrigued by a lot of the scenes. Coupled with Zelda's diary, the relationship between Link and Zelda, and Zelda's character as a whole, is quite fascinating and something I didn't expect. Link's "death" is a bit underwhelming though. He just kind of flops over. It was pretty amazing to find out that the Guardian graveyard next to Hateno is basically all Zelda's doing. That was one of the most striking areas early in the game for me.

I found funny that
Link still had some life in him when Zelda tried to protect him by nuking the whole battlefield, then he just fell to the ground. Basically Zelda nuked Link.

Hateno Village question regarding lanterns...

Is there any use for lighting up all the lanterns? I thought I'd get something since some of the lanterns are placed in areas not in the path between the furnace and the laboratory. I kept looking for extra lanterns in case I missed some, but I believe I lit all of them and nothing really happened.

Has anyone found any use for this stuff?

I also think I lit all of them, I don't believe there is a reward. I think the main purpose is to have checkpoints in case you lost your flame during the quest where you have to take it up to the lab. Instead of going to the source, you can just go back to the lantern. Also, it just looks cool to have them all lit up.

120+ hours in on the Switch and I just had the bugged Blood Moon happen to me for the first time. So far, they've only occurred at midnight, several days apart. This time, it happened at 10:00 AM right after it happened that midnight.

Hopefully, that gets patched... along with a boost to durability, the ability to cook batches of food, the ability to drop a weapon/bow/shield by holding B in the quick-switch pop-up menu, a weather indicator in the map screen (for those who use Pro HUD), and improvement in horse traversal near rocks. For gear changes, I hope they add something that gives the Snow and Sand boots run-speed affect to the Snowquill and Desert Voe Trousers, while the Zora Greaves should get give a substantial swim stroke, and Sheik's Mask should gain the set bonus for the Stealth Outfit. Shield Surfing shouldn't damage your shield on grass.

The two pipe-dreams I wish would come in the DLC, though, are:
- A more normalized damage increase that doesn't feature a 12x boost in damage from beginner weapons to Royal weapons, but instead something like a 2-3x damage boost. Accompanied with a rebalance of enemy HP and AI so you don't have to hit a Silver Bokbilin 130 times for it to die, the game would be substantially better balanced. That way, breaking one weapon and picking up the one you find one the ground is never going to be a gigantic downgrade and disappointment.
(If they implement this in Hard mode with a limit of 8-10 hearts, and armor upgrades capped at 2 stars, the objective of 'living off the land' would be perfect.)
- The ability to repair or craft weapons at a fireplace. The first time you break a weapon, its parts get added to a new section in your inventory, and when you hold those parts along with some amber and opal (or wood and monster parts, depending on the weapon in question), you get to recreate or repair it. I want to play through the game in Stealth gear with Eightfold blades, but the durability system essentially makes that impossible... and that's a damn shame.

So I just beat Ganon. Man, I really should have just gone to Ganon ages ago. I was very, very overprepared. I fought him having beat 3 of the 4 divine beasts. Ok so just so I know, I need all the memories to get another ending, right?

Anybody have tips on where to find bladed rhino beetles? I'm trying to keep a stock of mighty elixirs and I can't reliably find these.

Wear the full stealth set and run around East Necluda (SE region of the map). There are tons just sitting on the tree trunks, and you can run (don't sprint too close to the trees) without them hearing you. I got 6 beetles of different types in just a couple minutes.

Glad I upgraded the stealth armor. SE like the dueling peaks region, or one more south? Gives me a reason to find another tower at least

So apparently you can't explore the mountains on the very most western side of the map due to invisible walls. The only thing that came to mind was;

'See that mountain over there? You can climb it'

Except not in this case,

This desire for total remix of the mechanics is bizarre to me. Like, really, the weapon damage and enemy scaling should be entirely different? Silver enemies are durable, but claiming 130 hits makes me think you don't understand the game and shouldn't claim to redesign the systems to be better so easily.

Well the world can't go on forever. You can go just about anywhere within the sandbox.

It will get worse but you can fix it by turning your switch off and on again

Yes if there's one thing this game is short on, it's distant mountains to climb. The alternative is endless water or having Link burst into flames or something

Its not so much a problem with Ganon himself. It's just that since you're allowed to bring pages of full heal meals, any encounter where your foe can't 1 hit ko can be made trivial.
Even his actual attacks were relly easy to avoid /parry as well. I only used 1 health item in this fight. I had pages of meals, a ton of high powered weapons and all I had to do was use one health item and I only needed to use the Master Sword. Also the final phase is an absolute joke. It's like.....is he even trying to attack me in this phase? Not a great final boss.

Is the
ancient gear
even worth it anymore?

I've maxed out my
champions tunic and hylian gear
, and the
ancient gear
is pretty pricey.

Finished all the divine beasts, have all the memories, the master sword, 13 hearts and about 1 and a half stamina wheels. All I want to do is finish the game now but I'm going to take a break as I don't want it to end just yet. :/

If you wanted more things to do, then the set bonus stacks with attack up. If it's about beating the game... well.

I suppose not at that point. You're beyond overkill for the rest of the game's content. I do prefer that set to most of the others, but there's no point going out of your way for it if you already have those other ones maxed.

Is the blood moon glitch caused by people clock scamming their console to cheese Amiibo rewards?

lol. The back-to-back Blood Moon one? I've never messed with the clock and it happened to me multiple times. I played on the Switch.

I'm about 75 hours and just had a blood moon occur at 6:15 AM (game time), as soon as that happened I reverted to the previous the auto save, closed the game and reset the Switch.. anything else I can do to try and avoid the bug from occurring on my save file?
