For anyone interested the game currently has about 60 10's on Metacritic and the greatest amount of unique 10's in history. Someone maybe should make a threadI'm joking here

My trick with Lynel's is to shield parry, then arrow to the face. This properly stuns then. Whack em a few times, then mount them for a few more. When thrown off, slowmo arrows before you hit the groundFlurry rush is harder to pull off against the mace wielding lynels because the hitbox is ginormous and the timing is more strict.
I loved the area aesthetically, but I had no troubles getting through lost woods so the destination didn't yet feel earned. He goes to Korok Forest.
Speaking of which, the whole Lost Woods / Korok Forest area has been amazing.
You'd be amazed how many people including so called professional reviewers do this. It's easy to get away with it when it's a single player game too.Blaming game design because of your own incompetence, now that's gold.
Yeah that's a good point, the path through the Lost Woods is actually super short and the way you solve it can be really dumb. For instance l didn't even get that you were supposed to, l just wandered for a bit, saw that there was a glade on my map, headed straight towards it and voila, problem solved. l didn't feel rewarded at all. Say what you want about the game but Twilight Princess for ex actually made you work for it.follow the embers of your torch

Would love to see a video of that. Maybe you got lucky? Before I figured out the real way I kept getting lost, but then again, I made it a self imposed challenge to not open the map screen during this part and had one of the best experiences in the game.Yeah that's a good point, the path through the Lost Woods is actually super short and the way you solve it can be really dumb. Oh hahaUh yeah, that's my whole point.

I'm still not sure if i like this game or not yet. The weapon durability is annoying as hell, and while i get not holding your hand, im not even sure if i should be doing some quests. I just left kakariko village and promptly get one shot by essentially everything. And this was a main quest.
So not entirely sure what im doing wrong with this game.
Ah I seeYou could cheese it by avoiding the fog, but heading straight for it on the map only works if you've already gone pretty far on the correct path.
How do you use mine carts?

Bombs
You're not doing anything wrong. Just explore. There's really no right or wrong way to play.
You will need to use more than just your melee weapons. If you don't like using stealth, runes, bow or environment to help with combat you will not enjoy the battles. Using melee alone will leave you tons of grief.I'm still not sure if i like this game or not yet. Is there any way to tame wolves? My daughter loves wolves so I can't attack them when she's watching me play.
Try dropping meat, though they might see it as cannibalism. Apples are a safe bet too. Honey works on bears so you never know.Is there any way to tame wolves? My daughter loves wolves so I can't attack them when she's watching me play.
I glided on top of the rock and then climbed down and inside from the front and jumped to safety inside. So many ways to play!Wait what?! I feel so stupid right now - never figured that out even after 150 hours of playing! Got into that one particular shrine by careful gliding lol
I love how the game actually keeps track of individual Yiga members you encounter. I fought this one woman who spoke like thiiiiis twice in the space of an hour - and the dialogue reflected the reunion.

If you have problems getting killed by one hit, purchase the early armors in Kakariko. They provide like 9 def, which is 3 times your early clothing. And they're pretty cheap.
Weapons are scattered in every area, even villages you visit. And materials for cooking are on nearby places as well So you may want to stock up and cook before leaving villages. Take advantage of things that are essentially freebies and as you kill monsters on camps you'll get replacement weapons and more stocks you can use like arrows or rupees.
Shoot them with an ancient arrow...
... They won't come back.

I was unaware that this was considered "infamous." Are people really having trouble with it? Seem'd pretty straightforward.I finally got to the infamous constellations shrine. Fuck that was awesome. You can definitely over-think the shit out of it, even though is pretty simple.
Absolutely agreed, it's my favorite moment so far ().Beat the Gerudo and Zora divine beasts, haven't traveled too far north yetI just flew after it using the glider and the wind it caused just carried me along, so much beautiful scenery from that vantage point
They just add to that "yeah, I can do that" nature of the game. They're usually planted in locations where it... makes sense, for one reason or the other.
Do you have the Wolf Link amiibo? Is there any way to tame wolves? My daughter loves wolves so I can't attack them when she's watching me play.
What's the strongest weapon you've found?
For me the record is held by a Savage Lynel Crusher with Attack Up +23 for a whopping 101 attack
And deprive myself of my "Snarky Link feigning ignorance at the Yiga shenanigans" headcanon? Never.
But wait, does the ancient arrow actually finish them for good?
I really wish there was a sit option instead of just crouching to really complete that mood. This game really lets me live out adventure fantasies where you explore the world and brave against the elements to survive.
