Well I guess I was lucky because I just got the whole majoras mask armor set in like five or ten minutes.
I got the whole OoT set in 10 minutes as well. The WW one took me over an hour.

Anyone's got a reliable and fast method to farm star fragments? It seems like such a grind.

I need like 16x4 to max all the amiibo green tunics tho.Do you know about these seven star fragments that you can get in the world?
1) Feed dog at Lurelin Village
2) Feed dog at Snowfield Stable
3) Talk to woman at Outskirt Stable after obtaining the Master Sword
4) Floating barrel challenge at Riverside Stable (not 100% sure if this is the right stable but its one of the stables in Hyrule field)
5) Chest at Thyphlo Ruins near Ketoh Wawai Shrine (north of lost woods) http://imgur.com/a/uEqsa
6) Chest in water near docks near the Shrine located inside Hyrule Castle.
7) chest in over world http://imgur.com/a/dlNOI
I think only one of these is listed in the official guide (3).

No BotW has no critical story path at all. If you just want to "follow a story" and chase quest markers on the map for the main story, you're probably going to be very frustrated with the game.
I need to upgrade at least the tp set because it looks the best, and the zelda 1 shorts because they are the shortest shorts and link looks sexy in them.I've just decided that I'm only going to upgrade this game's version of the original getup instead of worrying about upgrading all of them lol
I'm sort of worried about going into Hyrule Castle with too good of a loadout. Hopefully things don't get too easy due to the time I'm spending doing sidequests, upgrading equipment and so on...

^ That's all true. Isn't it? I need affirmation.

Ok, travel really need to get fixed so we can't use it in fights. As much as it save me from a certain death in a certain area, it need to get fix that it cannot be used in combat. Its a too easy way out of a difficult situation.

Don't use it? I like it being there. I don't need to be punished in every game.Ok, travel really need to get fixed so we can't use it in fights. Yeah i normaly dont use it in these situation, im not force to use it, but i think its just a free ticket way out of any situation. Hoping a patch could fix this.
Thanks, that's very helpful. From what I've gathered, you get a 50% chance of seeing a star every night, except on nights of full moon it's 100%. If it happens in your fov, it will at least save a few minutes each night.A lot of people say this works for star fragment farming. https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/189707-the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild/75120724
Supposedly the star fragment is programmed to drop in your line of sight so you shouldn't move your FoV.
People post that they get a lot of them in an hour.

Do shrines, unlock towers amd avoid enemies until you get decent weapons. Hell, I started fighting only after I reached Zora.FInished up Horizon and ready to dive into this game, and I am finding it very intimidating. Got out of the Great Plateau and made it to Impa, but I feel like I am playing the game "wrong" if that makes sense. I get the entire point is to go where you want, but can anyone recommend a good guide to use? A best route to go?
Or fight nonstop, growing both your skill and the base weapon damage level so you can fight certain enemies without real frustration.Do shrines, unlock towers amd avoid enemies until you get decent weapons. Hell, I started fighting only after I reached Zora.
I've done 64 shrines and only came across three of them.So just did my first -- A specific shrine mechanic spoiler --I gotta say, not a fan of those shrines. I hope there aren't that many of them.motion controlled shrine.
So guys how is the portable experience? controls and comfort wise?
I am soon buying the switch and Zelda on sole purpose of using it as a portable device. I don't think I will even take the dock out of the box.
So aside the short battery, do you guys like the portable mode?

No, the game progressively scales with you, so the more you kill and the more you kill of certain types, the stronger those enemy types and the weapons they drop are. They refresh every blood moon.Wait, there's an XP(?) benefit to fighting enemies? Like, it makes your weapons (weapons in general, or just the type you use, or just that specific weapon of that type) stronger?
I've never once used it for that.Ok, travel really need to get fixed so we can't use it in fights. As much as it save me from a certain death in a certain area, it need to get fix that it cannot be used in combat. Its a too easy way out of a difficult situation.
Gotta say about the ending after playing it a second time, the moment the "Calamity Ganon: Scourge of Hyrule Castle" title fades onto the screen, moving onto the scene where the champions fire their lasers, is ultra hype and redeems most of the middling actual finale. Just knowing anyone who's hanging out in the world is witnessing those mega death lasers and knowing the moment has finally come really gives it some grandiosity, even if they don't show those reactions. I get goosebumps every time.
DUDE USE SPOILER TAGSKassis finally home, and the payoff really was something special. Both the revelation of his final song and seeing him and his kids together... just put a smile on my face.
Over 100 hours later and this game continues to wow me. Almost done though. 8 shrines to go.
Don't worry, brother. He didn't spoil any of the really good stuff. Honest to God, you have something to really look forward to. That said, do NOT click on my spoiler tag below or you'll spoil that surprise.DUDE USE SPOILER TAGS
