System settings, set date to a day later. Only way anyone is able to complete any of the sets, the RNG is so bad on amiibos it took me an hour to finish the TP set.

Holy crap, that's dedication. I'm good with scanning over a few days I guess, that's how I got the Classic, Time, and Wind sets o:

Still doesn't answer #2 though, unless he meant OoT Link since he's technically wearing the same outfit as a child in Majora's Mask.

So without being spoiled much, (early game character question)
is the Sheikah ball that Impa has in her house the reward for completing all the shrines?

Anyone else skipping horses? I mean it's cool to ride one but I feel like I skip past so many thing...

Once I explored a good amount of the world and found some horses I liked I began using them more. Really got to appreciate the nice horse riding theme. Also I was like 110 hours in before I knew you could customize their mane.

Plus slow motion arrow shooting after leaping off a horse never gets old.

Most if the time when exploring an area, yes. They're great for speeding you up on flat terrain and paths. Which is where I feel I spend least time, rather constantly climbing on something. Magical horse whistling to teleport your last used registered horse into your area would make them much more useful.

I thought so too, but it's part of an early quest chain. Go talk to people at night in the village.

Did you use the gyro aim or try to ignore it, only using the stick?

I wouldn't want to aim without gyro, although I'm forced to when the Wii U's gamepad's battery has run out and I'm switching to the Wii U Pro controller.

Can't speak for the Switch, but the aiming fine control the gyro provides feels so much more natural to me than trying to not overshoot with the stick. I suck at analogue stick aiming and loath it. Always feels like I'm fighting the input method as much as my own incompetence. No excuses with the gyro however.

I have it completely turned off in the settings screen so it's totally right stick to aim. I literally can dead shot anything I'm aiming at. I used the motion for the first 2 days I had the game and never got comfortable with the motion aiming. But I understand some people love it with the motion setup. It just wasn't working for me.

Yesterday I rode my horse into the forest only to be greeted by the classical zelda theme....is it normal that I got goosebumps?

Plus after that my Smash Amiibo gave me
EPONA!

Oh thank god I'm unbanned.

I traded in my 3DS and Xbox One and got a WiiU with BOTW. I regret nothing.

I've been playing basically every free moment I have had, I have freed the four divine beasts and defeated Calamity Ganon. And yet whenever I read this thread I see people mention things I never even knew existed.

This may well be the greatest game ever made.

Sorry to intrude, but why didn't you get the Switch? BotW on the go is beautiful.

Can we talk about how good the gliding minigame music is? I love how something this awesome is so far (120hrs..) in one random minigame. Had a huge smile when this started playing. Specially as the area was all thunderstormy and mid-glide it cleared up. The whole game is quite melancholic and sentimental actually, was fun for this to start playing.

I hear so many quick different call backs to other Zelda games in this..

I'm 60+ hours in and have spent about 30 seconds on a horse.
Gotta ride one at night for awhile to hear the subtle but great Main Theme play!

I love the horses in this game but do agree that I always stop to check my surroundings every 2 seconds.

Starting to hit a wall in this game where my main criticisms are starting to creep in and hit harder.

I ended up breaking all of my weapons during a dungeon boss fight so now I'm forced to roam around and farm all new weapons. I should've planned ahead, but jeez it sure is a drag.

First time in around 60 hours of play I've felt like i'm being forced to do something to progress. Also the first time in 60 hours that I thought "fuck this weapon durability system" lmaoo

How do you have such shitty weapons 60 hours in that you lose them all to a single boss? Other than the Stone Talus on the plateau I don't think I ever lost more than 4 weapons to any boss.

I went in with my best ones in the red or close to red which wasn't very smart looking back

Also damn Thunderblight eats weapons like its nothing 😡😡

If something is red don't hesitate to break it. Saving it just wastes space; at that point it only has 3 or 4 more hits, so even if it has like 50+ power you'll still get less total damage out of it than a 20 power weapon with full durability.

There's a good number of NPCs that talk about that. Vague hints but points to the same direction.

Yeah the hints are pretty direct, i found a NPC at a stable which told me there is a
legendary sword he wants to find located in a forest north of Hyrule Castle.

I think better weapon management is what you need. And of course better utilization of your other tools, like bow and arrows, bombs and other runes. In 60 hours, you must have found some awesome keepers to use in bosses, like Royal gears and Dragonbone weapons, that are unused so that durability is at maximum.

1) Couldn't afford it.
2) Wasn't in stock, like, anywhere.

Do yourself a favor and get

Bayonetta 2, donkey kong tropical freeze, mario 3d world, smash 4, pikmin 3, NSMBU, xenoblade x etc etc

I omitted mario kart 8 and splatoon because the switch will be getting a port/ sequel

Got all Shrines done (used a guide for the last 2). Also completed the Hyrule Compendium,
is there any use for that envelope you get
?

I still have left 7 side quests which I haven´t found and have to farm the Dragons to upgrade all the armor. Also, I "only" found 350 seeds, but no way I´m going after the 900.

Already have 3D World, and I also have Minecraft. This is my second WiiU, so I managed to get my NNID transferred over.

Am i missing something here, on the flight range
you have to do to get to the devine beast which flies
how do i stay in the air and shoot without just running out of stamina? i just keep dropping into the water after hitting one target

oh and also, what are the benefits from me getting the memories? i'm on like 5 now and they havent seemed to unlock anything?

Just a question:
Does the european version of BotW contains dub for all the european languages?
If I buy the french version and have the console set to english can I listen to english dub?

After you fire your arrow press the glide button to end slow mode.

You can drop for a bit to replenish stamina and then open your paraglider again to catch an updraft.

The benefits of unlocking memories are basically a bit of (terrible) backstory and a brief post-game cutscene. I vaguely remember Impa saying something when I'd recovered them all, but it must not have made much of an impression.

Yeah those really feel like they probably made more sense when this was just a Wii U game.

The gamepad seems too sensitive for the puzzles and control like shite.

Yes, it should.

It supports English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian. There's also a Dutch translation for all in game text.

3 beasts down, going to the last one which is the Lizard (forgot it's name) tonight but not sure what I'm going to do after.. Do I go straight to Ganon and call it a day or do more exploring...

After finishing the game with more than 90 hours played I got to say that the only thing that really bothered me are the rewards.

Nothing like finishing an amazing Shrine Quest (like
Eventide Isle
) and just get a bunch of Rupees as a reward.

While I don't expect every single Shrine or side quest to give me some amazing loot, at least I expected the ones that seem to have a lot more work put on to them to give me something unique, not common weapon # 5 or random ancient spare parts.

I thought it involved a recipe quest? You can just find it there?

Therr are 3 ways to get it.

Give the old man the food he wants.
Reach the peak of the mountains, he will give it to you for free.
Go to is cabin after you finish the plateau quest

You can also buy it at hateno.
