This is nothing but a pie in the sky theory, but is the Ancient Tree Stump possibly meant to be the Great Deku Tree from Ocarina? There isn't much there to suggest so except aKorok to be found
That's what I assumed too

I personally wouldn't bother finding all of the seeds, or even enough to just max out the inventory. I'm having a grand time with just 120 seeds.

Trying to complete the Shrine Quest called 'Gerudo' Tower. It's so hard to aim from the tower, especially considering you have such a short window in which you can do it. The wind makes it even worse. I used a 5x Lynel Bow and spammed over 20 arrows but couldn't do it. Will come back later when I'm more stacked with arrows.

Anyone else just have no motivation at all to do 'endgame' stuff?
There's another 40 shrines I could go find, or I could try to collect every armor set and upgrade them, farm Lynels, guardians or rupees... I'm sitting close to 70 hours and kind of want to finish the game and take a break. Maybe I'll return to it later for extra stuff.
I don't know the Tree Stump you're talking about, but (possibly spoilers for you)the Great Deku Tree is actually in this game, and I always figured it's always the same Tree. Might be wrong though.
Wait, I just remembered a new tree was born after the first one died in Ocarina. Man it's been too long for me with some of these games.
Solution hint spoiler for that quest that you may want to hear because it frustrated me for a while too:You're not supposed to be aiming from the tower.
If you want to know what you're doing wrong:Shoot from the Shrine spot, not from the tower.
I wasted many arrows trying your method too.
I'm surprised there's so many complaints about the rain. You can still climb a good amount by jumping just before you slide and at worst you'll need to circle around a bit or go in a different direction. It's only really limiting at the start with the low stamina and no climbing gear or other methods to climb likezora armor
Holy shit so in order to properly dodge attacks I need to jump back horizontal attacks and to the side for vertical. No wonder it was never working for me before.
Also, thatis annoying and I'm pretty sure it messes up my blocks/furry attack timing.shield block move thing you get from Gordo

I get that and I didn't mean it negatively, I was genuinely just asking if they had any other purpose....they are there for density, so you don't have to scour the whole map to max out your inventory
You can always make another profile but it's kind of silly you have to.Why in the world does this game not have multiple save files like every other Zelda game beforehand? People are doing really cool challenge runs, and I'd like to do so too- like a Nuzlocke or something- but not at the expense of my original progress. Now I know how people down on weapon durability feel. x.x
It's not ideal, but you can create a second profile and use that. It is annoying, though. Why in the world does this game not have multiple save files like every other Zelda game beforehand? The rain thing is odd because every other weather element (cold, heat, extreme heat, lighting) has at least one counter. What's odd is an NPC explicitly mentions the Sheikah having rain-proof clothing and yet you can't buy such clothing. Almost seems like they had it as an option at some point.
I just do thesnow bowling mini-game. Once you got a system down, you can get strike on your first try pretty consistently.

Wood+flint+shelter is sort of a counter for rain.
Or be the asshole Link who offers the apples to get the seed, then takes all the apples afterwards.
Anyone else think... it will be hard to go back to older Zeldas now that this one embodies the OG Zelda more than any other. I want to play Skyward Sword again but remember all the tedium for the few moments of brilliance. I don't think I can do it after playing BotW.
Unless it's an extremely tall sheer cliff, it's not even that hard to brute force your way up slick surfaces. Climb for four "steps," then jump, and you'll be making net gains that overcome the distance lost by slipping. See where thresholds to regain stamina are. If you have the upgraded climbing set or stamina potions, then it becomes almost trivial.
Which Inns have the best sleep rewards?
Is there a guide showing which Inns have what reward?

Is it worth buying the?house.
I always assume yes to anything requiring money in a Zelda game as it's really just an unlocking thing. But it's a lot of money (although I've pretty much saved it up)

When you build a fire you can fast forward to morning, noon, or night and skip the rain completely. How does that help you climb?![]()
Edit : I might be wrong about this, hahaIt's just for fun as far as I know, so if you don't care, then don't bother.
you can melt ice blocks with just having a fire sword (or rod) out and standing near it. These little details, me likey. Anyway, asking again, reliable place for Hyrule Bass? I want to upgrade thatarmor and it needs 5 for each pieceZora![]()

It's the most common fish. Just swim across the Hylia River and you'll get more than what you need. Or just about any body of water there is.
