@Reuters

JUST IN: Syrian warplanes take off from air base hit by U.S., carry out strikes in Homs countryside - Syrian observatory for human rights

Guess, the bombing didn't have that big of an effect on anything.

He's just going to keep bombing them until he gets it right isn't he?

Sheesh, I think I'm just going to buried my head in video games tonight, shit is probably going to go down.

Has there been reports of the damage done yet from the 59 TLAM strikes at this base? If not and this place is still functioning, that makes us look bad lol.

I'm assuming this is intentional? I'd have to think that even with a buffoon in charge the people coordinating the missiles would be capable of incapacitating an airbase.

they only got 6 broken migs and a mess hall in the strike. what a joke.

According to the US Department of Defence's annual budget, a single Tomahawk missile costs $1.59 million.
59 missiles x 1.59$ mio and you get arond $94 million.

How much do 6 migs and a mess hall cost?

Were there people that really thought this would change anything in the equation?

Seriously. Either we(US and international community) go to war or Russia decides to fuck over Assad. That's the only way anything of consequence is going to occur.

The missile strike sent a clear message.

It sent a very clear and direct message.

Crystal clear. The most clear. Tremendously clear.

50 cruise missiles didn't eff them up?

I know Russia Today is not exactly the most trustworthy source for this kind of info, but I've seen reports online from them and others that said only 29 missiles actually made it to the base, and of those, none hit the runways of the base, or any aircraft. Only the fields to the sides etc. So who the fuck knows. The whole things a big fucking mess.

I'm waiting for Trump to use chemical weapons himself at this point. I wouldn't put it past him or his cronies

All the sarcasm aside, if chemical weapons don't get used again... ?

Might be a good chance he'll do it again, but that's what this message was about, not demobilising the whole country and preventing Syria ever flying/bombing ever again.

What a precision strike...50+ missiles...most of them missing target...nice job...oh and thanks for letting them know that US will be sending missiles beforehand, so they could take all measures to avoid strikes

If US really wanted to take down the base, I am sure they could have done it 100%

So we waste 70-something million dollars, get Russia hot on our ass, and do basically nothing to help the situation regarding Assad bombing his own citizens. Right. Got it.
