Nintendo Direct on April 12 (3PM PT, Switch/3DS, mainly Splarms)

It's not hating. It's legitimate concern. I was being optimistic and hopeful but we got a whole lot of nothing with ARMS being a June release, what is there if you own a Xbox One or PlayStation 4?

Mario Kart 8 comes out at the end of this month, there are still other indie games being released every single week (as well as the dope neo-geo games), and E3 is pretty much a month and a half away. If these are the announcements they're making now, they're probably holding the goods back for E3.

I don't see Sony with a presentation right now to update their fans on some stuff this close to E3? That's all this was, an update video to tie up some loose ends.

Full disclosure: I've had a PS4 since launch, have a PC, etc. etc.

So new Splatoon 2 Amiibo, & they look pretty cool! Plus you can use them to save outfits for tournaments.

The Salmon Run mode also looks legit.

The bait and switch of the headline which said "A legacy of greatness on the Nintendo Switch" only for it to be Namco Museum was just too cruel.

Pretty disappointing direct. Wasn't expecting tons of stuff but was at least hoping to hear about a web browser or media apps or Virtual Console. Nothing seen here excited me.

Mock the direct all you want, but Nintendo has a very strong lineup to continue momentum.
