It'll be interesting to see if they try and make it look "normal" like The Killing Joke, or go stylized like Tales of the Black Freighter made alongside the Watchmen movie. The Dark Knight Returns is a decent middle ground.
They say goign with a style that tries to mimic the original series, but one could argue tried that with The Killing Joke

Teen Titans The Judas Contract is a damn fine flick. The Killing Joke is really the only one I haven't enjoyed all that much. Oh and Superman Unbound, christ I forgot about that one.

I haven't seen that one yet. The last one I really enjoyed was Justice League Gods and Monsters. That was really good with a badass interpretation of Lex.
