Now that Nintendo has a handheld out that can actually put out really great graphics (which ironically are crap to some people), and is actually the sole handheld console with any future, people are sure quick to hate it for being weak.
Well, it's the best handheld there is. The only handheld there is going forward. Unless you want handheld gaming to die with the Switch (which I'm sure some people would love going by the replies earlier), better hope some great games get released and the Switch continues to be successful and show there's a market for a handheld device still.
Even if you hate handhelds, the idea of gaining access to a pretty vast library of handheld games is surely appealing, unless you're the type of person who can't enjoy a game that doesn't look like a summer blockbuster movie. The previous handheld systems all saw some pretty amazing games, games that are just as fun as home console titles, over the PSP, DS, Vita, and 3DS, and now we have a handheld that will easily provide access to all those great handheld games, but on a traditional console experience and a portable one combined. So hopefully it does better than well, and more and more games and studios continue to release and develop for it.
