NHL Playoffs 2017 [OT] 100 Years of Playoff Salt

I don't understand why JT didn't just keep going to the net. Could have been an easy tap in if he was there.

A damn miracle this game is somehow tied after 2.

So Radulov gets boarded and held down without the puck and no call, but the Habs are getting all the calls amirite

As long as they stick to what they've been doing they should be fine, they're outplaying them in almost every department.

They struggle to score 2 goals a game. Basically have to hope Price continues to nearly perfect, unless Lundqvist falters.

Is Skjei already like the second best D on the Rangers? He seems pretty good

Yes. He had a shakier training camp and start to the season than we would have liked, but he's gotten better and better throughout the season. Ended up the season 4th in the NHL among all defensemen in even strength assists behind only Duncan Keith, Brent Burns, and Erik Karlsson. Nearly got to 40 points as a rookie defenseman. On top of all that, he is probably the Rangers' best regular defenseman in terms of fancystats, so he's sound defensively and skates very well. And he played the most games of any Rangers defensemen, with 80 games played. Probably would have gotten a decent number of Calder votes if this wasn't such a ridiculous rookie class.

Lunqvist has played out of his mind, the scoring chances and shot attempts have favoured Montreal heavily. Price also hasn't looked like himself.

If you're actually saying Price stole any of the games so far, I might actually say you haven't watched a single game. He has been ok.

Damn I didn't realize most of those things, he isn't a player who is talked about that much

There were so many marquee young guns around the league that he flew pretty far under the radar. Not to mention he plays third pair on a team with Henrik Lundqvist, Ryan McDonagh, Rick Nash, et al. The rookie third pairing left defenseman just isn't going to be talked about a lot.

I would have laughed really hard if the canadiens scored during the rangers power play. Has the other team ever scored during the opposite team's power play.

PensRefs out in full force

bullshit goaltender interference call to waive off a goal, Pens score on the ensuing PP.

poor BJ's

The BJ's really need to stop cross-checking people though, jesus

but RIP that's the game

This must be your first hockey game ever.
