To be fair, the dude has died a few times already. The prospect of having to do so again likely wouldn't scare him anymore![]()
What ? Did anything give the impression he's enjoying himself in the afterlife ?

I guess everyone would want to know why they're doing this for a friendly tournament.Krillin wouldn't be down with it and neither would Gohan or Piccolo. Bulma would probably throw a fit too. Even Goku probably wouldn't be down with it.
Just caught up with DBZ abridged.
How in the hell has this been running for this long and they haven't even finished the cell arc lmao.
What ? Did anything give the impression he's enjoying himself in the afterlife ?
Not enjoying it, sure, but he already knows of the process of dying, which is what I meant.
Like we even kinda saw that on Super. In his first arc (during Z) he was legit scared of dying near the end of the fight. In Super? Not so much scared at dying, more like angry at losing. Again.
Probably why Goku is so recklessHe knows what dying is like, how it works and that (for him in particular) it'll just mean more training hehe
Like a lot of scenes having inconsistencies that they have to fix.Because the editing is not as simple as it seems. There is more to it than simply cutting up scenes and piecing them together with new audio.
I love them. Some edits are super obvious like anything involving eyes but I never realised until I watched those how many of the lip flaps they use are completely redone or characters are edited into shots they weren't in originally etc. It's impressive.Like a lot of scenes having inconsistencies that they have to fix.
The breakdowns they use to do were interesting.
Teaming up with they guy who literally put you on the endangered list. IDK that's some Obito "you're a cool guy" level shit to me.

It's nothing new for Dragon Ball with guys like Piccolo, Vegeta and Buu on the same team.
Piccolo is the kid of the other one and had a fair amount of growth before the turn, Vegeta had a backstory that would allow for the change, and Buu excised the evil part of himself. A bunch of situations that aren't comparable here.
I can't believe Cell isn't popular or people find him boring.
Freeza would NEVER work with Goku, no matter if he'd be promised a "better hell" or whatever. He hates Goku on such an obessive level, he would probably take the option of sabotaging the team's effort in order for Zeno to take the universe and Goku with it.
That's actually not a bad idea if I'm being honest.
Vegeta can also kill him so people can stop bitching about that.
I can't believe Cell isn't popular or people find him boring.
Let's be honest Beerus would be the one doing the killing before Vegeta ever would.
We had a good run lol.As with any potential spoilers here tags just stop being used
I'm sorry Tien and Roshi fans...

Oh, is that when Goku teleports to pick him up?Piccolo "died" to Cell.
Oh, is that when Goku teleports to pick him up?
Oh, is that when Goku teleports to pick him up?
He doesn't do that until Cell was going to kill Tenshinhan.
Ah, I see. Fuck I really need that Kai rewatch lol, I've forgotten many details over the years. Before that. Around the time 16 is fighting Cell, after Cell blows Piccolo.
Goku doesn't IT until Tien is using his Tribeam.
It's also my favorite abridged scene.
If it wasn't for SSJ2 Gohan, Tien holding off Semi Perfect Cell would be my favorite moment of the Cell saga.
Just finished DBZ. I dont even feel satisfaction, just a sense of "ok". Buu saga was not very good and went on for way too long, and I feel DBZ took on a whole different tone for the worst. The comedy wasnt too great nor was there a sense of progress.
And that ending, jeez. What movies come after DBZ and before super? and are said movies referenced in Super? I hate when anime TV shows act as if anime movies never happened

Cell was great but he's done, can't really do anything else with his character.
I loved his interactions with Piccolo.
Roshi sure is being Roshi this episode.
