They're not leaving Gohan out, stop.
Episode 91 said he held his own against Goku so I'm sure the fanbase will cry about that though.

Yea, he should
be stronger. He needs to jump in the RoSaT with Vegeta to grind out a couple more levels
.

Frieza's reward could simply be a less excruciating hell. He absolutely hates the place he's in now after all.

... Then again by that logic Frieza would be happy to destroy the universe so he doesn't have to go back to that hell.

Can we please talk about how Yamazaki Hideki is co-supervising episode 90?
Dude is a talented young animator from Bones who has done a lot of supervising work for them on shows like Eureka Seven AO, Noragami, Noragami Aragoto, and My Hero Academia.
How on Earth did Toei get him?

Bar Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo, it makes sense that no one else wanted to use the Time Chamber. The others just see it as a friendly tourney with the potential for some cash, so there's no reason to throw a few years of your life away training. Especially as most of them have families to take care of. Vegeta's just battle crazy.

Man, I seem to be the minority in this, but I hope they're successful in getting Frieza. Having an actual villain on the team would make things way more tense and thus interesting, especially it being a total sadist like Frieza. This arc's already challenged our concepts of a hero and protagonists with every other universe full on hating Goku, so imagine if he brings along Space Hitler for the ride. Sounds fantastic for storytelling. It's sad that we seem to be losing Buu for Frieza, but we saw Buu in action a few episodes ago, and Buu can perhaps get more development and screentime in a later arc. And I can't really imagine kicking anyone else off, except maybe Vegeta as he's gotten a lot of screentime in the first few arcs. The others are all either unique, under-used or Gohan -
- and we've gotta see his development climax.

Hot damn.

The leaks were sounding ludicrous enough that I could imagine it being real. But even so...

Seriously, Son?!

Can't wait to see everyone's reaction to both the true purpose behind the ToP and Goku suggesting Frieza to quickly replace Buu. Frieza's reaction is also going to be great. This is going to be great in terms of character interactions.

This is some fast and furious 8 shit where the main villain got made to join the team reluctantly.

I can now imagine Gohan pissing off some fighter during the tournament, who then shoot a beam at Pan in the audience area, then Frieza teleport to block the beam or something

Beerus could just promise him another chance at life if he cooperates.

Maybe Kaioshin because Beerus is the god of destruction

I'm excited for this. Guess they really wanted 90 to look good.

I want this a lot. People somehow keep coming to the conclusion that elephant god will want to revive Zamasu based off of his short appearance in the preview, and I'd be a ok with that.

I think it'd be neat, and give our attention to another universe.
Right now our eyes are on 6, 11, and 7, we have no reason to be invested in another universe, so this would be a great way to make us invested in what's going on with his universe.

And it's a difficult thing to decide since I assume they'll have to break some type of rule to do it, so there's the wonder of if Zeno will do anything to retaliate, how will Beerus react,e etc.

I see them having no problem convincing Freeza to work together to save the universe. Freeza is the absolute manifestation of vanity. He may hate his existence in Hell, but he loves himself far too much to choose non-existence over it.

That's a silly direction to go with the show. Now I'm waiting for (future ep spoiler)
Frieza to become the next mainstay enemy-turned-friend. Seems too obvious hes going to try to kill Goku during the tourney though.

I don't think it'll do much when he's already dead.

Gotta send a message

They should have revive that mysterious saiyan who became the first super saiyan blue

End of Z
We find that Frieza has settled down and has started a family with Launch.

Even better!

Goku will wish for him to be turned a child, so that he, too, can be bought up the "right way".

Uub and Pan would be having a pretty stacked team for the next generation.

Hey, at least this makes the RoF arc more than a weird non sequitur that felt like it was included in the series out of obligation to the new films.

He'll be Goten's Piccolo.

Lol, I made the mistake of highlighting the spoilers from the other day since everyone was like "lol no way these are real, why are we even spoilering them"

But now it turns out they're all real? Mann, this is gonna be crazy.

Honestly, despite the spoiler-tags, this really isn't a spoiler-safe thread.

OH MY GOD
Goku - Alright Vegeta, we're all ready to go!
Vegeta - WHAT THE FUCK IS HE DOING HERE KAKAROT?!
Goku - Eh, don't worry about it, it'll be fine.
Vegeta: "I WAS ONLY GONE FOR 3 HOURS AND YOU FOUND A WAY TO FUCK EVERYTHING UP
We should see Krillin's character development. He shouldn't be too scared of Frieza, hopefully.

Frieza is going to wreck frost. Count on it.

I was expecting Frost to have a new form, but, yeah,
with Freeza returning, he's certainly getting dumped as fodder.

I doubt Freeza will become a permanent ally, but imagine if he goes back to life after the tournament and gets his empire back running... but is still considered an ally now just because he doesn't attempt to kill the main cast again.

Would explain why Gowasu looked shocked/terrified. Would also show how the GoD don't give a crap with their lives on the line.

God damn it.

I love Freeza but not like this. I can't say I'm not interested in how this'll play out but yikes. Kinda the first sour thing about this arc for me.
