There are none. It's gear or premium.

What's so confusing about this is that when watching the watchtower videos, they've earned source crystals in game before.

I'm not sure how up to date that was I just posted it so people could see what you can use them for. I think you can earn them in game since we've seen them earned in game before but who knows.

Not really. I mean, the outfit incorporates a lot of red, but apart from that, it doesn't look very similar to me.

We discovered many cool gear sets in the beta, I'd imagine such pieces are still available as regular drops in the retail version. There'll definitely be high tier gear locked behind Multiverse progress however. I could see a theoretical event on "Earth 2" awarding JSA themed gear, or a fight against "Flashpoint Batman" awarding his gear.

Did one of those characters, specifically Starfire, look oddly familiar to you? Obviously, Starfire looks like the comic book character, but does she also look like a real-life celebrity? Well, one real-life celeb sure thinks she does!
Disney Channel and Spider-Man: Homecoming star Zendaya just randomly took notice of Injustice 2(she’s never mentioned the game before) for, supposedly, lifting her likeness for Starfire.

I can kind of see it. That said, according to Zendaya the comparison doesn’t extend below the shoulders.

Hey, by NetherRealm game standards, Starfire could probably join Zendaya on the committee. They’re not so much for the realistic proportions. That aside, does Zendaya have a case about the facial resemblance? Starfire does have a certain Zendaya-like vibe going in the picture she retweeted, but it’s much less obvious in this closer look at the character’s face.

I don't feel there's much of a resemblance at all, especially given how closely modelled the character was on her comic counterpart, who has extremely similar physical features.

They look absolutely nothing alike lol. If anything, I would say she looks more like Halle Berry than anyone else. I'm going to sue WB for stealing my look*.
