All of the asspulls and this coming out of nowhere soured this moment for me to the point I couldn't enjoy it. Aesthetically its pleasing though.

At the current point in Super...they're already a few years older than Cell saga Gohan...
Pan was 4 at the end of Z after all, currently she should be close to 1 year old.

I don't think the God Ki thing makes sense. My only real problem with his transformation was the lack of acknowledgement. I think the best explanation for it would be classifying it as a "natural SSJ3" as opposed to the form that Goku got from pushing himself in the afterlife.
I just don't get how it's so hard to mention that Future Gohan taught Future Trunks the Genki Dama, or Goku taught him it in the present timeline. Would have taken less than a minute to do with Goku, even less with Future Gohan.
genki damas are something that naturally happens, that's were kaioh learned it in the first place, done
the _real_ problem is that a genki dama with that few people should not have killed zamasu...but then again, he didn't die
Maybe 2 episodes. One where Vegito fights Blamasu, and while he's doing that, Trunks getting frustrated he can't help, and then starts channeling something he doesn't understand. The Genki Dama, but he doesn't know how to use it.That's not even my main problem with that scene. Just the composition of it all made it feel rushed and abrupt, and well, bad.

It could work as an inbetween form before reaching full SSB status. Whenever SSB comes out, everyone talks about "pressure", so I think it would've worked fine if, at the time Trunks got it, Vegeta had commented something like "This pressure? Could it be?" and Zamasu or Black had said something like "The ki of Gods?". Instead, we're left with no answers whatsoever and it simply becomes another random asspull from the many Trunks had in the arc.

2nd episode focuses on Future Trunks fighting Blamasu. Vegeta and Goku notice the Genki Dama isn't strong enough, they give their own energy. Highlight that because Blamasu bulked up, he's too slow which is why he isn't doing anything against Future Trunks.
Genki Dama uses people's energy. The Spirit Sword uses the people's hope, which only grows in times of despair.
Seeing him fight excites me. Because you know that he's gonna push himself to a new level when it's needed.Gohan is definitely the most boring character when he's not in his super hero costume
How about it being the reason it's not fully SSB? You need someone like Whis to help you realize the form to its full potential.Isn't the key to god ki a master of ki control? That's why that explanation wouldn't make much sense to me. I feel like a rage boost is the opposite of "control".
Why do people keep mentioning freeza? Is he coming back again?

Seen far too many people in the last couple of pages say Freeza instead of Frieza lol
I think I fucked up too the other day
Frieza is an incorrect translation and I refuse to use it.

I use to use Freeza, but I thought it was wrong so I changed it.Seen far too many people in the last couple of pages say Freeza instead of Frieza lol

I mean, i'm not trying to be stubborn, but I feel like you could say the same thing about SSJ2. Either way, you need that Whis step to get you to SSB. SSRage is just beyond SSJ2, which is why I just like to think of it as a natural SSJ3.
It would be ok if they said something like fighting among god ki users helped his body get somewhat accustomed to utilizing it to some extent, but it would probably be cleaner to, well, not say that. lol

My head canon is Sinner Saiyan being the true/natural SSJ3 and Goku's is a flawed side grade of SSJ2 like USSJ was for SSJ1.I mean, i'm not trying to be stubborn, but I feel like you could say the same thing about SSJ2. Finally, a pointless argument we can all rally behind: Is it Frieza or Freeza?
"Freeza" is the proper translation of the Japanese name.
Freeza's name is a gag on the English word "freezer" so his name should literally be spelled "Freeza" in English. In what sense?
Pffft, you edited that right now :v

Just to clarify here, "Cooler" is the official English name, but "Coola" is the correct English translation.lol nah it's always been that. I was surprised they went with it over his FUNi name. I never got "Frieza" anyway. Then they went in the opposite direction with Cooler. You'd think they'd call him "Cuola" or some shit.
Why not? The Ginyu Force are stupid and are meant to be funny.Like how Gurd, Reacoom, Butta, and Jheese better preserve the English words those names are based off of, right?
I get all of these except Reacoom. What the fuck is a Reacoom?Like how Gurd, Reacoom, Butta, and Jheese better preserve the English words those names are based off of, right?

The most Human Alien ever. It was just so damn random for him to show up when everyone else was actually fairly different than humans (even if just in skin colour).
