In one day Gohan reached SSB levels, in two days he will reach Zeno levels.

The Gohan Trunks deserved, but not the one he needs right now.

I am ok with this Gohan L though.

Yeap,
like people were complaining about before, Gohan beating SSB-KK *would* be insane. That he went out tanking a full power SSB-KK punch and still post-punch he still had some fight in him and went out gracefully. Goku went further on Gohan than he did anyone else for sure.

And Gohan can still go further as Piccolo said before!

Not reading spoilers, still 30 minutes for my turn to watch. Just answer me this (yes/no):

IS GOHAN BACK!? LIKE REALLY, TRULY BACK!?

FFS,
TIEN IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE HUMAN VERSION OF PICCOLO / VEGETA. DO SOMETHING WITH HIM

Waiting to see the episode in HD with subs, stream was pretty bad on my end.
Fuji TV's upload of the NEP is just a half NEP again, looks interesting though.

The ending was so great, gohan had 0 power left in him, and he still tried to go for the punch before falling.
Amazing honestly....
"Become a warrior" achievement completed

This is how shit with people stacking up to Goku should have been done. You know Gohan has tons of potential, they've mentioned it so many times in the show, he's shown training, and overcoming, his mental block.

Then he stacks up against Goku in a way that makes sense.

SSB is still dumb conceptually but this episode did everything right dealing with it all things considered.

That's probably why I'm so critical of Super. It can do good things, and when it chooses to, it does them right. No "he's been training in secreit ;)" bullshit, no assumptions or extra material someone's gotta sift through to get it, no offscreening, just shit that's outright explained and then executed.

My problem with the recent development.

It makes Goku and Vegeta look like complete fools, and it also renders nonsensical Beerus and Whis' interest in them.

Those assholes spent about 4 years training as hard as possible and Gohan, on his own, no magic trick, catches up in like 5 hours by meditating.

That's... just. Whatever.

That being said, I'm really happy to see Gohan "back", and especially as the leader. Just wish they had handled it a bit better.

17.

17.

Oh yeah, 17.

Damn this exploded with comments.

Makes more sense than Trunks and Frieza surpassing Goku. Like Goku said in RoF, fights all his life and people like Frieza surpass him with ease.

Like #17 catching up? if you are going to pull out a power jump for someone like #17, why not Gohan?

I mean that's been the entirety of DBZ. Gohan was literally born more powerful than the Goku that saved the world from Piccolo in DB. More powerful than the two of them combined.

These spoilers got me so excited. Cant' wait to watch it.

Gohan <3

Android 17 is as strong as SSB. He's a Ranger. There is literally nothing that can happen in this show that shows worse power scaling than that. Nothing. And that's fine. It's either they bring all these side characters back in line with Goku and Vegeta or this show eventually loses steam in later arcs.
