So is Gohans Ultimate from limited to just him?
Is it possible other people could learn that form? I wonder what the stamina consumption is compared to something like blue.
Maybe it's something limited to just half sayians/humans. Imagine if Goten or Trunks got a hold of it.

Hard to say. We've never seen Elder Kai use it on anyone else, so we don't know if it'd be the same type of form for everyone, or if it'd be different depending on how much potential they have.
Presumably anyone could get the ultimate form if they had the potential.
In terms of 17 being stronger than Gohan, there are too many variables. Gohan was beat by a Kaioken Blue, with Gohan going full out, while 17 and Goku were on par, but they both stated they were holding back.
Ultimate is just Gohan with all his power unlocked and pushed pass its limit. Anyone could in theory get if they have their power unlocked by Old Kai. But how powerful it is will depend on the person.
It's hard to say. We haven't seen enough of Gohan to know where he stands compared to Goku and 17.

Beerus used the same level of attack to take out Piccolo, 18, and tien at the same time, and tien wasn't any worse for wear than piccolo and 18.

It could be possible that trunks and goten(and pan and bra) could do it but I believe gohan is suppose to be a prodigy even among half saiyans
It's more that the idea is that Gohan's thing has always been about his unfathomable amount of potential, so the ultimate form compliments that.

17 could very easily be in the same league or stronger than Gohan. That's what I like about what's currently going down. You don't know for sure. It also strikes me as possible 17 may be able to hang with Kaioken SSB Goku.

I wonder how much Goku was holding back in his blue form against 17. He was defiantly going full power for Gohan.
He wasn't holding back his blue form. He was holding back kaioken.
We don't know what 17 is holding back.
It might not be raw power but some technique or skill, or some absorption barrier.
Since Gohan and Goku are both getting a power up, you can expect 17 to have something in store.

Also, it seemed to be implied that Goku was holding back in SSJB against 17 but was giving it everything against Gohan. Thinking that 17 is stronger than Ultimate Gohan is just wishful thinking and not based on facts.

Nah. We know now that for Goku, going all out is using kaioken. So him holding back = not using kaioken.
On top of that, he can't feel 17's ki so the fact that he decided to go Blue was based off the strength of his attacks.

I always wished these dfferent transformations would actually have different effects instead of a generic overall increase that's sometimes impossible to even tell. It's only the drawbacks(USSJ, SSBKKx10, and SSJ3) that really get pronounced and visualized in fights

I'm not opposed to Krillin either.
Goku's single-minded. During the 2v2 all he did was fight Gohan, meanwhile Gohan fought Goku and protected Piccolo from Tien's attacks while he charged up. Vegeta's got the same problem. Meanwhile, Piccolo probably isn't strong enough to float around and cover who needs it.
