It's a story mission. That's how the missions are. There are still strikes, raids, pvp, and all the other modes in Destiny.
Bungie has never, ever prioritized smoothness or high frame rates.
Don't know where everyone got this idea of 60fps

You aren't getting these graphics and scale at 60fps on the OG versions of the current consoles.
It probably includes "any" raid, so Crota after the additional updates where it was like a Strike

I guess the single piece of info that I need to know is if they fixed the awful, AWFUL tickrate for their MP servers. Seriously, 10 Hz is inexcusable.
Yeah I think a lot of people are missing that. No one wants a complete rework of the general gameplay. We wanted better story telling and more open play areas. I can't speak for everyone, but my clan wanted the general gameplay to stay just like it is. I personally think Destiny was one of the best shooters of all time from a mechanical standpoint.

This is what I'm noticing. It looks really funny now that you've described it like that.
The game looks great despite it looking pretty much the same. I played Destiny 1.0 for so many hours and if I were to not know that Destiny 2 is coming out, I would have expected this to be an expansion.
