Is the Humble Bundle worth it if my main interest is Owlboy? Beholder, Kentucky Route Zero and Story about my Uncle look interesting, too.

I can vouch for Kentucky Route Zero. It's probably the best written game I've ever played, where the choices you don't make tell as much of a story as the ones you do.

I'm tempted to get it just for Owlboy right now, but I know that's not the best decision. Nearly 100% of the rest will be duplicates, and I'm a little weird about selling the keys for some reason. I'd rather just give them to people.

That Dark Souls 3 season pass is calling my name, even though I just started the game a month ago (after having it for a while) and haven't had enough time to devote to a playthrough between personal stuff, work and the excessive inebriation required to balance the two.

Going for a classic "barbarian" type. Big club. Lots of health. Would really like to see if I can get some Bleed, too.

Man a recent Disgaea game on PC would be a dream. They have done so much to smooth out the systems in the recent games that when I went back and played Disgaea PC it was REALLY tough to get into that mode again. I mean you still gotta grind cause that's the game, but it is really much better than it was. Story is generally worse, but no one plays Disgaea for the story right? They shouldn't if they do.

Part of my friend list has bought this game:

Has it gotten any advertisement somewhere or am I missing something?

Latest Assassin's Creed Brotherhood patch added Simplified Chinese and unlocked Copernicus Conspiracy DLC that was PS3 exclusive. That is interesting.

Looks like another little gem has left EA so I can finally recommend it:

This is a neat classic styled blobber RPG, like Ultima or Might and Magic, but in a sci-fi setting instead of a fantasy one. Definitely worth your attention.

Might be trending for 2 reasons:

1. From God of War art director
2. Was very suddenly dropped on Steam with no lead up.

So likely a combination of a veteran developer and the sudden release spiking some curiosity.

And another "Out of Early Access" Launch

People say its kinda mix of Freelancer, Mount and Blade in Starpoint Gemini world

I may have missed it being mentioned, but to coincide with this, Starpoint Gemini 2 is currently free: http://store.steampowered.com/app/236150/Starpoint_Gemini_2/

Granted we have a Steam sale coming up so this may change, but even just Owlboy without any of the other games has never been less expensive to buy.

Any plot or is this just dungeon delving?
Looks interesting.

There's definitely a story. I've only put in 2 hours so far:

- Assemble and manage a roster of characters with unique classes
- Level up, assign skills from a tree
- Find, buy and gamble equipment
- Pick missions based on difficulty, rewards and who you'll be pissing off/gaining favor with
- Reputation system that affects shops, services and levels
- Skills have combat and non-combat uses (I use Hacker Skill X to disable an enemy, or I use it to unlock a computer terminal)
- Maps are generated, with hidden stuff, traps, security systems and random stuff to find
- Combat uses dynamic initiative (every action takes a certain amount of time units)
- Skill trees are pretty deep, to the point where you have to reread skill descriptions all the time to figure out wtf is going on
- Max level 30, new game+(++++) ups the max level
- Classes are not traditional holy trinity stuff
- Graphics aren't exactly Grimrock, but servicable
- Difficulty levels, with normal being pretty exciting

6 Vs 1 mode added to Shrouded in Sanity today. I thought he was done with the tweaks but he keeps giving. Beat it up in 46 seconds but it was a pretty good challenge.

i should play stalker, but only if someone uploaded a good steam controller config
Eeeeh, not sure STALKER is the kind of game that would lend itself well to a controller. Could be wrong though.

EDIT: I'm an idiot and keep forgetting that the Steam Controller is no ordinary controller.

Her Story in the $1 tier? Was a cool game, now there is no reason not to play it if you're even remotely interested.

Now when is Contradiction gonna get bundled again?

Yeah, I'm sure it's not news to anyone here, but Her Story is an amazing production.

I put it right up there with Hacknet in the, "Holy crap, I'm actually playing out this procedural." immersion scale.

Mystralia appeared on the Humble store.

By the way, Hacknet DLC was updated to use Steam Workshop.

Better late than never for the bundle, I suppose! I've also already got almost all of these in my library, though - only 80 Days is missing.

Steam's Discovery Queue actually showed me a neat game for once.

Release post about it:

It sounds awesome, kinda like This War of Mine fused with XCOM, and the thieves guild gameplay one would have wanted from an Elder Scrolls game. My interest is 100% piqued.

It just released today (USD$19.99 plus launch discount of 10%, I think), but if anyone has any impressions I'll be glad to hear them.

These all look amazing. Looking forward to them - and somehow finding the free time to dig into them
