A gal gun character?? bought. lol thanks.

Edit: Game seems pretty fun so far. Damn Giant bomb's bad talking this game made me hesitate at first, but this feels like a modern NES game, and in a good way. Maybe not Shovel Knight levels of awesome, but still cool.

Always ignore GB shit talk games. 99% of the time it's rooted in "I don't get it/missed a crucial mechanic"

I'm just getting to the point where I'm ignoring GB west completely now. Jeff is so jaded, and his taste in recent games seems to suck pretty hard. Brad is DOTA loving, and that's enough for me to dismiss him completely. This new guy Ben seems...boring. And Jason, while he does actually like games that I like, I don't like how he always seems apologetic for liking the games he likes. Whenever he brought up stuff like God Eater, or tried to tell people that dragon quest heroes 2 was a good game, he sounds like he's trying to apologize for his tastes, and that he'll rush his thoughts on it, and shut up before he annoys Brad and Jeff too much.

GBeast has vinny, and he's just great. Vinny, Alex and Dan seem more open to trying new things, and are respectful of others different tastes in games.

Gives all the fucks
Mighty Gunvolt was a fantastic freebie for buying Gunvolt & the DLC was decent as well. Based on the fact it looks like they're replicating all 8 bosses from Mighty No. 9, it seems this'll be a beefier game.

I wonder if the additional characters will follow the same sale pattern of MB Zero, having them be free for a limited time, then be paid DLC once the free period's up. Hell, maybe they'll make Sophia III or Jason playable since they mentioned other characters & I have no idea who else they could include.

Edit: omg, what if they added the main character from Bloodstained since they're working on that & it could be seen as a way to promote the game. I mean, Beck was included in the first game & Mighty No. 9 wasn't out yet.

Yea the old balance and magic is gone. Somewhere in 2013/14 is when I gave up and the jadedness became too much. At some point everything felt like grumpy old men too set in their ways with a very narrow spectrum of interest. Too much room for annoyance when a lot of the things you like are Japanese and Nintendo stuff. Which is why I was so happy when Austin Walker was with them and actually took a proper look at Xenoblade X (unlike the courtesy QL that the original got a few years prior).

Much more fun to listen to people enjoy a thing than the opposite (unless it's making fun of legit trash and not just misinformed dislikes).

Have any Neo Geo games come up on the Coming Soon section for this week?

It was always a bit frustrating, I remember when they basically dismissed Demon's Souls as trash just because Jeff didn't like it, and it took years before any of them actually gave the series a chance. Nowadays I just ignore their opinions for the most part, its still fun to watch.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Bit of a self-promotion (still on GAF, fortunately), but for all of you (yeah, I'm speaking to both of you!) interested in how sales are faring on the eShops, I've decided to re-open the bi-monthly eShop charts threads again! Some of the users who usually frequent the Nintendo Downloads threads followed the older threads and / or gave their own contributions in helping gauging the demand for games in general on Nintendo's online storefronts, so I suppose they'll be happy to learn about how they're returning. Give it a look if you want!

In addition to Rayman's main mission, he's also faced with extra challenges like collecting Blue Tings scattered throughout every stage. Despite Rayman's jovial demeanor, his quest is far from a walk in the park. Sadly, the early PR's because of a holiday weekend in Europe. (I think the UK had a bank holiday Monday? Unless that's just Canada that celebrates Vickie.)

Damn it, Shibata.

Really a shame NUK didn't send their PR today. But tomorrow isn't a public holiday in the UK apparently, so... But I'm totally expecting them NOT to send it because reasons ;)

Any other possible downloadable games coming to switch tomorrow besides KoF99?

I only got the joycons so far, so I haven't bought any of these fighting games. Has anyone tried to play a game like KoF on the joycon grip? I can't imagine it'd be very good...

Astro Duel looks fun though does it seem a high price tag? Don't mean to cause that argument, just think it should be $10. Already spread the good word about it though.

This was kickstarted back in 2013. Completely forgot about this.

it's amazing how many 2013 indie kickstarters only now get somewhat close to being done (nevermind the platform transition aspects). and they were all estimated for the following year or so.

Guess I'll end up passing on Street Fighter.

Would be so much easier to pass if we knew when the fuck Pocket Rumble was coming.

Spring seems highly unlikely at this point.

Do we have any more Switch release dates other than GoNNER, Arms, Splatoon 2, Astro Duel Deluxe and the Neo Geo stuff?

There's so much good stuff announced, but I feel like we have no idea when any of it is coming!

Other close games are, Mighty Gunvolt Burst on June 15 y De Mambo on June 29 in Japan (probably in west too).
Looks like Sonic Mania's release date has been leaked for August 15.

Anyway, only two weeks until E3, we'll see more dates there.

Here you can see more dates.

I just found out my friend has a Switch. I had no idea. They just found on randomly and bought it, no preorder or anything.

Asshole.
I think you are not missing much regarding the Switch. Wait for the bundles which will include a free game.

Missed opportunity for Nintendo if they don't.
