It rings true, but it's about what you'd expect from nearly every comic movie in the last 8 or 9 years. Not so much a defense of Wonder Woman as a troubling point for the genre.

Batman Begins third act is not "infamously bad" to me. In fact I think it's quite good, but that's my opinion of course. Same with Iron Man, only less so.
Wonder Woman's final act sounds a bit different though. Seems like it's the typical "fights monster in the dark bullshit", that happened in BVS and Suicide Squad among other CBF films. Shame!
They finally made a good movie, but of course the fans won't admit that BVS, MOS and SS are shit.
Apparently WW goes for the marvel style too which explains a lot

Speaking of Shazam, I hope that movie gets made.
Unless Zack called up Whedon for more Wondy focused scenes, I think Johns and Berg still wanted JL to focus more on Batman's arc and hope and optimism and whatever.

For real though, what better way than for this to perform and have it greenlight more action movies with women headlining. Based on the breadth of reviews, it's probably gonna be enjoyable for me, and that's all it really needs to be. Bonus if it's more, and kudos to the group! Actually thought this would be one of the harder ones to pull off.

It has been tracking well.
I heard it was but not being part of the DCEU which is insanely stupid.
Baywatch has a 19% on Rotten Tomatoes. IT and The Mummy aren't out, and Fifty Shades Darker is a fucking 50 Shades movie. So... no?

Interesting. I read an article not too long ago that basically stated it was going to do worse than any other DCEU flick. Glad that wasn't accurate.

4/5 but they criticise the 3rd Act, but love the rest of it.
It really does though. The reason why the Marvel movies work so well, so often is because they focus on heart and humor. Even if the movie isn't amazing, the characters shine through.
That hasn't been the case with the DCEU so far. Until now. Based on these reviews, they are focusing on the characters. And I think DC will be learning a lot from it.
I dunno, man. I think we're stuck with this being our Supes from now on:

Well yeah, Baywatch. Power Rangers was good for what it was, so was Fifty Shades (seriously this one wasn't that bad) and IT and The Mummy look competent to good. So they have not been trash.
