TBF, when people say something like "finally a good DC movie," they mean mean a DC movie set in the DCEU.
But yes, Lego Batman was awesome.
It's gonna make bank.
He got taken out off the site for years because of how he pissed off everyone with his Toy Story 3 review. Then he signed with fucking National Review of all places and RT got forced into putting him back in.
John Wick 2 was also fucking excellent.

I think history is showing us that WOM and rotten tomato scores are affecting these blockbusters more and more and more. I'm almost positive this movie is going to exceed earlier expectations by a large margin. I'm thinking over 120$ million OW

I will not take the Ant-Man slander that was a fun as hell film.
And the guy next to him playing Tom is directing Thor Ragnarok, so it has that going for it.

I'm pretty hopeful that the film will do well in theaters.
The early screening I went to was one at a military base for families and I'd never seen the theater this packed before. For the record, this theater is massive and has a balcony floor of seatings for good measure.
The crowd was so big that it was full all the up to the very back rows of that balcony floor- and it got a lot of clapping and cheering at the end.

Yeah, Ant Man was great. I don't get the hate. Personally, it was one of my favorite MCU movies.
He's not! Apparently he's out of WB.
It was mentioned earlier, but if WB truly wants to separate DC from Marvel, maybe they should go all in on a mostly woman-centric universe. They've already got Batgirl cooking, along with Sirens and SS 2. And we know Wonder Woman 2 is probably going to be announced within the next month.
Go for broke. Bump Hal and them and have Jessica Cruz be the lead GL. Get Zatanna and Vixen popping in solo features. Have a Titans movie centered on Starfire and Raven. Have a Black Canary and Green Arrow movie where Dianh gets top billing.
Probably a pipe dream, but would be great to see.
The problem is that the suit is 100% CGI throughout the entire movie, including the mask on his eyes. Even the eyes at some points, if I remember correctly.
God, I was so excited for that movie. I really thought it was going to be DC's Iron Man.

I was talking only about the GIF. Looks like the suit is still materializing so it's hard for me to judge since it cuts away so quick. But still looks ok to me. I expect GL to be pretty damn heavy on the CG..
