Nintendo E3 plans detailed

Those Smash screens look legit! Really hoping that we end up getting that port on Switch this year. Porting Wii-U games like that in year 1 seems like the best move for exposure and building up the library.

Now all we need is Pokemon Stars in 2017 and Switch will be the console of my dreams within less than one year.

It's literally impossible for an anonymous channer to get direct screenshots. The Smash Run screens look like they still use the 3DS models which makes me think it's just an upres.

Nah it's a fake, just look at toon link it's the model from the 3DS version and not the WII U. There is no reason to keep this art-style for the switch handheld mode.

There are some weird details on the characters that look like their 3DS selves (especially Bowser Jr. and MegaMan). But the backgrounds have texture/model detail that would go beyond Citra (mainly on Paper Mario stage).

It kinda reminds me of that Dr. Mario stage hoax but the effort here looks more than that. But yeah, the character model oddities make me think it's fake.

i am thinking uprezzed 3ds through citra

My thoughts are if you had access to those images and there were new characters in Smash Switch, you'd show those new characters. So my guess is if these turn out to be legit, no new characters in Smash Bros. Switch.

I don't see how that Bowser Jr. is any different from the Wii U model...

Not saying this is real though.

Poly count and texture work? Just look at Mega Man and especially Toon Link. These are 3DS model in higher resolution.

Even the lightning engine is straight from the 3DS version.

Upscaling from 240p is more reasonable than Downscaling from 1080p. Really?

No, the images being photos of handheld mode rather than screenshots is what I'm talking about. The colors look off if these are just screenshots.

I'm comparing them to their Wii U models and I don't see a difference, but I guess I don't have the most discerning eye when it comes to that.

Can someone quickly whip up some comparisons with the 3DS Smash Run? If there's a noticeable improvement here, as with the Paper Mario stage, then this is very likely real, no matter the difference with the character models.

Also, Smash for Wii U/3DS didn't have any Break the Targets stages like that.

The inverse is if the image is fake, it's safer for the leaker to use characters that are already known about.

Yeah if they're real that sounds quite reasonable.

Notice the lighting on his head and the clown car's lips. Clown car is less glossy, hair tuft is less detailed. Mouth is a deeper shade of red all around and the colours are simpler.

They already did look above

So we might have Smash 4 Deluxe leaks?

And why would it have 3DS models? Even undocked, the Switch outperforms the Wii U.
