It is just Citra and photoshop dudes.
If I had to give my two cents it's that Koffing looks really weird and the two Monoeyes are in the exact same pose/angle. .
The Paper Mario stage looks a lot better than the 3DS version.
Citra can make 3ds games hd and some look good because of future-proofed assets.
That's definitely the 3DS bowser jr though

Wild guess: photos from undocked mode (?!?)

Why would character models completely change when undocked?
Of course it's fake. There is no reason the Switch version would use the character models from Smash 3DS.

Yeah if they're real that sounds quite reasonable.

I don't see how that Bowser Jr. is any different from the Wii U model...
Not saying this is real though.
Upscaling from 240p is more reasonable than Downscaling from 1080p. Really?
Poly count and texture work? Just look at Mega Man and especially Toon Link. These are 3DS model in higher resolution.
Can someone fill me in on what Citra is?
I'm comparing them to their Wii U models and I don't see a difference, but I guess I don't have the most discerning eye when it comes to that.
My thoughts are if you had access to those images and there were new characters in Smash Switch, you'd show those new characters. So my guess is if these turn out to be legit, no new characters in Smash Bros. Switch.

Okay, THIS one looks fake to me. It looks too clean, like it couldn't possibly be a screenshot of a game in motion.
Now THAT is photoshopped.
Can someone quickly whip up some comparisons with the 3DS Smash Run? If there's a noticeable improvement here, as with the Paper Mario stage, then this is very likely real, no matter the difference with the character models.
Also, Smash for Wii U/3DS didn't have any Break the Targets stages like that.
