Tekken Talk is happening on Twitch in 10 minutes guys!

I think Lucky Chloe loses a lot of her charm when one removes her default outfit. To me, the default outfit is Lucky Chloe. But if one don't like it, it's nice to change it up in Customizations for sure. :)
 
Yeah can't believe reviews are saying this game is amazing. Missing a lot of stuff and have yet to play in a single online match at all. Tried all last night and all day today and nothing.

I think the most of Characters they introduced are weaker in every way than the ones they removed with a few new nice additions like Kazumi and Lucky and Josie.

they ARE weaker, Lucky chloe and Josie are no where near Julia's level. As for Lei... he's flashy but I don't know if he's that good heheheh.

This arcade is seriously pretty well stocked. All the cabs have Japanese style sticks with square gates. I should come here at nite... Forget buying the game.

This is a fair question of anyone playing any game. And as a previous national competitor back in the day here my answer:

Find a few friends/ online or offline, that want to fit Gud too. Practice and help one another, watch videos of the "bread and butter combos" do that and you'll take your first steps.

It's a hella of a fun process if you hang with the right folks. :)
 
I think this Tekken Talk will just be the guys going online and wrecking fools. If there's announcements now? I'd be surprised. I'd expect some within the next month.
 
Okay fuck this I'm gonna dick around with all the characters before deciding. Shouldn't have even touched Drag but homeboy is 2fun.

^Do you think they'll go online with the servers as they are? Or maybe it's a PS4 thing I don't know
 
You would think that Zaibatsu would say "hey, new Tekken game is out we might have alot of people joining so let's have some people on point."
But nuuuuuuuuuuuuuoooooooo, you would be mistaken.
 
So I watched most of the main story mode on Twitch last night and... uh, yeah, that probably wasn't worth the effort. At the same time, I think they almost feel obligated to do something like that or else they would get ripped by more casual players and reviews. Kind of wish the budget was allocated toward other modes with longer appeal or better online functionality or more characters or something.

Honestly, if they were going to do more story stuff, I wish the individual character stories were fleshed out a fair bit more. At least some of those (like Asuka's and Lucky Chole's) are funny and most of them are more in the spirit of the older Tekken endings.

Tekken 7 on Steam is around 15k concurrent players right now and has a peak of over 18,000 (higher than SF5 ever did on PC) -- it'll be fine.

Looks like they're using the PC version according to Twitter. Man this server stuff is weird because some people have issues, others don't, it's hard for us to judge. I haven't tried to go online yet but I will later on to see.

Either way one thing I'm loving is this might be the first Tekken in a decade that the entire FGC is getting in on. I'm seeing Tekken fans, SF fans, NRS fans, Smash fans, PC fans who don't play fighters much, everyone's trying it out. The more people that peep it the more content we'll probably get if they like the outpouring. This is a great thing for the brand itself because they do listen to fans. I'm sure the outcry of single-player content will arrive with DLC down the line. I'd be heavily surprised if it didn't.
 
Since new people have had a chance to install and everything, I will re-post my problem...

I installed on my pro,which is connected to my tv and played a bit and customized a bit.
Now I came to my PS4 that I have in my game room just for these games (gaming monitor) and none of my shit is there, not my wins not my losses, not the shit I bought...

That was last night, today no different.
I go in there, it has what I do in there on the same PSN ID and I turn it off, go into the room and boot everything up and it only has what has been done in there.
Is this the way it is supposed to be?

I'm kinda trippin too.

I'm on concord Blvd off the 680 freeway in the bay area. I had to stop into a Firestone for a tire problem... And I wander over to the mall... And there's a pretty big arcade called Round One.

And now I'm prowling it for victims. It's like I walked thru a time portal.

Is there a way to stop that stupid fucking regen thing he does which renders him in the white shield until he does a rage art? 'Cause for fuck's sake...

Absolute dross. Story mode can fuck right off.

Yeah I just hope they address it soon. Harada even said people should play the warm up mode to find matches yesterday so they are somewhat aware. But you typically wanna smooth out your online experience in the first week.
 
Guys, what can I do against players who spam that move where the Tiger jumps onto the screen and hits you? Came up against 3 players already doing it and I'm like 7 online matches in.

If I recall, both DLC characters in the season pass are guest characters.
 
Adding Steve to characters I wanna learn, have tried him off and on the last 2-3 games but never played him much. I love playing boxers though so finally sat down and took at look through his moves and played a few scrubby matches with him, had a ton of fun. Ducking and swaying through attacks is the fucking shit.

Oh god I hate Steve. He's a great character to master and very rewarding. Not easy but incredible character.

There are no achievements related to difficulty, turn it to easy and just mash like crazy with the auto combos and get it done.

I know, but the mittens are part of her default outfit, and they obscure the letters she's spelling out with her fingers. It just seems like a really weird design choice.
