Yup.
Got dominated by a Shaheen player for like 5 rounds but I managed to get a bit more consistent on breaking his throws. Made those 5 rounds worth it.

It's for saving your profile so that you can bring it to different Arcade machines. You usually buy the card as the counter at your Arcade. They got really cool art as well. Mine had a few Tekken girls on them, like Devil Asuka.

I feel like the difficulty associated with a large movelist might be overstated.
I'm been playing for like 12 hours with Katarina, and I feel like I have a very solid understanding of her moveset.
Granted she's supposed to be a easy to use character but she still has a lot of options but I feel comfortable with almost all those options and the situations in which I'd apply them.

Story mode is freaking awesome. The fights are super climactic. Akuma vs Heihachi was amazing. I thought that E3 trailer just added cinematics for the trailer, but no, that's in the fight! Freaking awesome. I'm liking it more than MKX's story mode.
Especially because Akuma and Heihachi.
Also I'm more of a Street Fighter player, and Akuma does add a point of reference for me, and makes it easier to get the feel of Tekken down. That's how I feel at least.

Is it me or does movement not really feel like a Tekken game? I feel like I can't really move around very well at all.

It is. You're not going to use all those moves. A good chunk of those are too unsafe for the reward or just too slow.

Lol Just beat the story mode. Man this shit was nonsensical as hell. I don't even know where to start with this. Plus so many plot threads left hanging

It's not a challenge, it's just unfair. Akuma seems to be invincible for 90% of the fight.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing. IDK if it's my setup or what, but the characters feel very sluggish to control. I don't remember it being this way in past titles.
I hope they do. At least add more hair options. The selection on that front is terrible.

and I'm kind of jealous.
They're a Japanese chain of "amusement centers" so they all carry bowling lanes, karaoke booths, pool tables, crane games, arcade machines and the like. They've recently been expanding to the US as well, and they've gone out of their way to keep the arcade cabinets as similar as possible. To the point where they've licensed a bunch of games specifically for use in the US and even got a couple of developers (like Taito with Groove Coaster) to make international versions specifically for them.
Frankly I would be terrified for my wallet if one ever opened up around here. D:
Yeah there's more. Unlike TTT2 (which only got content for 2 months and then died), they've said they're at least going to do a year of post-release content. After that I guess it'll depend on how well it does.
But yeah there's more stuff coming.
