Sure. But it also means that the execution of such a fight can be hit or miss.
It's no doubt a large fighting stage. But a 1 on 1 does indeed give characters more chance to develop.
They somehow managed to trivialise the entire Frieza and Cell saga with one episode.

I also disliked this. I actually kind of hated Frost's little storyline. They could have broken the mold there and at first it was really promising. The idea of a "good" Frieza was interesting. Now he's just a worse version of Frieza.
I especially hated Goku's (or was it Vegeta's?) line once it's revealed that Frost is a dick along the lines of "A Frieza will always be evil". It's like wow Dragon Ball you had an opportunity to make Frost a little fun and interesting message about discrimination there but you were like fuck that.

I wish they'd give the race an official name.
It really isn't a race, though. Freeza and his people are just mutants of sorts. They're probably only a select few of them (all stemming from a single family).

Yeah, Toriyama at one point said that Cold and Frieza are the only members of their "race" due to them being mutants. It's possible that Frost's existence in DB Super retcons this old statement though.
If they can't reproduce with that race then they wouldn't be part of that race anymore though. They would be a new race.

Honestly, I'm having so much fun with this arc. Super has been very consistent post-RoF and each week has given me something to look forward to. The new female saiyans are super cool, and I'm so glad that DB might finally get some female mainliners who can contend with the big guys. Videl was a favourite when I was growing up, but she was always kind of doomed since she was just a human.

Nah. He fully absorbed Goku.
After he came back Cell was significantly stronger.
