This is why E3 is so important. Capcom had better bring it with gameplay, info, artwork, and what we can expect in Sep.
I'm just hoping my hype can be restored.

I honestly tell you; Capcom should delay this game. Its feel so incompleted and so not-hype.
But maybe its just me. Id rather have this game next year, once they took the feedback, fix the roster, the colors, the HUD, and everything. Perhaps its because they haven't show too much of the game itself...But this is the first time i honestly don't feel any emotion for a Marvel .vs game
A delay would bring more hope to the game, for me at least.Yeah I really hope the game is delayed.
First time I'd be ecstatic for a game delay
I got a feeling MVCI's story mode is gonna be awful...
We need Shinkiro back!I just get an empty feeling looking at that art.
I doubt it'd even be comparable to Injustice 2.I got a feeling MVCI's story mode is gonna be awful...
Maybe they should do a beta and get feedback on the game before the release.A 3 month delay would probably do wonders for this game.
This is probably going to be the cover cause Capcom is on a budget. Everything else you are asking for either isn't there or will be limited in some capacity or another due to the budget and/or this game being rushed.

I don't think gameplay will even be the issue it will probably be content and roster that will kill the enthusiasm. Most people came to terms with the 2v2, no assists, and the gem system pretty fast. Hell pretty much everybody in the know came to terms with the no X-Men and FF4 and they still found a way to disappoint.Maybe they should do a beta and get feedback on the game before the release.
The one thing that keeps me from thinking that can be the final cover is that Iron Man might be the only 100% recognizable face there to the general public.
Ryu & Iron Man are both incredibly recognizable, Marvel is really trying to push Captain Marvel, and Capcom probably said well Megaman is good enough to even it out.The one thing that keeps me from thinking that can be the final cover is that Iron Man might be the only 100% recognizable face there to the general public.
Well, you have a point there. The gameplay could be fun but the roster is what's lacking something.I don't think gameplay will even be the issue it will probably be content and roster that will kill the enthusiasm. Capcom needs to put the soul back into their fighting games. They just don't have it anymore. The mechanics is one thing, but presentation is another.

Jesus Christ, all this doom & gloom around here is depressing.
See y'all next week.
Don't really know if it will be different next week.Jesus Christ, all this doom & gloom around here is depressing.

It's a roster thread that had the roster spoiled, and it turned out to be underwhelming. The people who will actually play the game for more than a month will be happy in 2 weeks.

Yep. SFV is actually a really good and fun fighting game when it comes down to the actual gameplay. It was everything around it from the content to the presentation of the game that was its downfall. They haven't been right since UMVC3. SFXT & SFV had their issues one way or another and MVC:I seems to be on the same path.
I don't know why Capcom is rushing things. They rushed SFV and saw the inital response and instead of them to learn from it they rush MVC:I out even quicker. Also just by looking at the roster you can tell they are heavily relying on DLC which is an asshole move to do especially for a returning fighting game.
It seems that there's going to be 0 artwork and only the CG models/renders...There's no officially released artwork. Only that really kinda not great render. That's concerning.

SFV actually did get Shinkiro art.SFV did the same thing. I know we can finally render out full characters and don't need illustrations to see what they actually look like anymore, but good artwork does wonders for anything man. It'd be a real shame if this game got none of that, especially since it's so prevalent with past games in the VS series and totally sells the older games by itself.
Yeah, artwork is great, I'll miss it if there's no promotion on that side.SFV did the same thing. I try not to be that pessimistic with the game, but when you have that roster it's difficult (for me at least) to be happy with it. Yeah, it doesn't have some of the characters that I use but apart from that, it still lacks something to compensate...I second this. It's irritating that people are being depressed because they doesn't get their favorite characters but people always find new mains eventually. I just felt that this thread isn't a speculation, it has become a whinefest. Instead of complaining, it wouldn't hurt to be optimistic and discuss about upcoming newcomers' movesets or would certain characters get new moves? Or discuss about upcoming 5 DLC characters that we have no single idea about.
I still think it's going to be Ms. Marvel, Black Panther, Loki/Daredevil/Punisher, Asura, Gene and Sigma.
P.S. people asking for delays or unrealistic changes simply don't understand how development works.
Haven't seen some of those pictures, they look really good.SFV actually did get Shinkiro art.
Likewise, the guy who did Third Strike: Online Edition's art (Artgerm) was contracted by Capcom to do SFV character art after he did SFV Ryu & Ken on his own accord.
Artgerm is currently working on SFV Vega, in case you're curious.

I asked Damon (CPT guy) about Shinkiro and he said he wasn't sure.So we know he's still active.
We really need Shinkiro Infinite artwork, though.
God save this guy
I don't think I've seen Shinkiro's art with this type of flat coloring. It's a good look. Really speaks to his quality lineart.

I'm not sure Capcom understands how game development works anymore
Regina will be in the cover for UmvC Infinite hahahsurprised there's no regina
I think his TvC art was similar
Even when this thread was created people never really talked about movelist for characters. It was always roster discussion. I myself put forward some theoretical game play stuff about characters but people didn't even read it so why would anyone else bother? I have also made numerous posts about the game play in the past and people were more concerned about Chris making it in over Leon than the fact that Chris actually has less gun moves in this game than in Marvel 3. The priorities of this thread are obvious and the doom/gloom from a disappointing roster could have been seen a mile away.I second this.
