Unless they are saving console exclusive returning characters, this means that we are not getting the entire roster back from the past series.

Megaton. Been waiting forever for this. Anyone played the arcade version? How is? Also cast is a huuuge sausage fest. Hoping for some more female characters. Give me Yuna, and Tifa at least.
It's been changed, and the original was definitely not "like smash bros except with ff characters on an open map".
A lot of former Dissidia players/dabblers don't seem to be aware that the gameplay style has deviated from the originals (hence the UI change). They're aping the style of Gundam vs Gundam, which is a very popular arcade game.

Finally! Been hoping for a console version for a long time, the original games were great fun action/fighting games with quite a bit of content. Hopefully this will also deliver on that front and not be a bare bones version of it's former self like Tekken 7 and SF V.
