I got a Sony X900E 4K TV and PS4 Pro last month mainly for Wipeout Omega, and I'm looking forward to using one of the two enhanced HDMI ports for Scorpio.

the thing is, I want a console to cross over 100 million consoles this gen, like the Wii did last gen. That to me means that the console industry is healthy. Right now the Ps4 seems the most likely, so I want its sales spikes to continue. If the Xbone or switch were in its spot, I would want that as well.

I'd have assumed $399 was the plan from the beginning. They'd have no chance of gaining marketshare if they went above that.

I'd be very surprised if the PS5/XB? hit the market for more than $399....I don't think either company would risk going over $400 again.

I'd buy one if the 10 means it has the ability to run Windows 10 and function like a PC, play PC and Xbox games, etc

Imagine the madness if the Scorpio is Windows10 compatible, can be used as a PC AND ALSO comes with a Windows10 x64 license included (which could be banned if the user hacks or pirates games).

Yes. 399 will magically solve all of xbox's problems across all regions.

Real talk: the Scorpio will not be successful enough to offset the widening gap to the PlayStation userbase. Closing the gap is pretty much impossible. Closing the gap and overtake the PS4 userbase is misterX levels of delusions.

Well that' not much, but please don't say it anyway. I want a full price-war between Scoprio and Pro so I can get the Pro for cheap (and perhaps the Scorpio if MS stops releasing their games on Win10 Store).

They should be able to get some sales back from Sony but nothing that will allow them to catch up WW.
Now the question will be if Sony going to lower Pro price permanently after the holidays .
