Nah. If you're going with that generation then it's shin butouden on the saturn or legends on both systems. No way is it that one. One of the worst.
DLC my dude. You know it's coming. Maybe space it out and depending on the success(highly likely in the west) use them for the sequel.
With SSJ3 looking like a cinematic super as well as the complete absence of Blue, I'm thinking Blue might be it's own character.
It's hard to tell if Golden Frieza is an install or its own character.
Good thing the game is playable at E3, we should get a lot of info on how it plays soon.

The only Gokus I saw were SSJ Goku and Blue Goku. (And I didn't see blue in game)

Though to be honest, from an aesthetic point of view and moveset potential, Ribanne (sp?) probably could add alot since Dragon Ball has never had a character like her before. We still need to see what she can do in the tournament (though its clearly implied she can at least give Vegeta a run for his money).

I don't think anyone from the Universal Survival arc is going to make it since they don't have a defined move set to draw attacks from.
The more unique characters we're most likely going to get are from the movies or up until the Black arc for Super.

don't really want multiple versions of the same character regardless of how different their transformations look. just make that shit cosmetic or part of supers and make more different characters. plenty of variety to choose from.

Yeah, I'm not expecting any new characters from the current arc. Goku Black and Zamasu are probably the newest characters that have a shot to be in, at least for launch.

The extra pages in this thread from people talking about this game are going to make me have to get off my ass and start working on OT7...
I never really cared about port begging in forums, I thought it was fine for people to want a good game on their console of choice, but holy shit the Switch port begging has started to get really annoying.
Now that that's out of the way. I NEED THAT CLOSED BETA RIGHT NOW! Holy fuck this game is all I've been thinking about all day!

I enjoyed it. All the character interactions were really well done. The Frieza transformation was truly epic! Especially the music. Hopefully they can do his character justice.
DB Fighters:
That trailer was hype! This will be the first time I learn a fighting game past button mashing lol. I'm expecting future trailers to show SSB and hopefully some Super characters. They probably just wanted to focus on the DBZ stuff for the reveal trailer. Bit of a shame it wasn't 60 fps though.

From what I've heard the guilty gear games are also 60 FPS but the individual animations are lower fps to replicate the anime feel so it's probably like that
Yep, Arcsys would have no problems at all creating a moveset for Bulma.
And honestly if I could get one off the wall character pick, I'd love to see her be playable since she's so important to the series. Chances are low, but Arcsys did try to convince Atlus to make Dojima and Nanako a character in the Persona fighting games so I wouldn't put this past them, haha.
I liked the Vegeta beat down more in the retelling.
Japanese score for almost everything, but if Vegeta does the Final Flash a piano hits out of nowhere like it's Randy Orton.
Hahahaha, I won't lie, seeing Frieza repeat what happened with Trunks again would be pretty funny. I don't think I'd be mad.

Its a huge missed opportunity in retrospect they didn't make her a serious fighter. She should have went with Tien and them to Kami's to fight the saiyans. She showed some strength at the 23rd, got further than choatzu and Yajirobe.

I've been converted to SSJB. It's SSJ with God Ki, and thats a more interesting idea (to me) than just one more step up in the base SSJ form line. When it's drawn well it looks beautiful. Not as gaudy looking as SSJ3 and SSJ4. The blue aura gives a holy vibe.
