I wouldn't be surprised if the lineup lines up (derp) with Extreme Butouden to a large extent, and Ginyu was in that. I mean, Arc has already put in some work into making the Dragonball Z characters fit into a 2D fighting game, which moves they'll have, and making them feel varied. I assume they also did the thing where they created the animations and then drew over them for Extreme Butouden, so they may have some assets that they can build on instead of redoing everything from scratch.

But they absolutely removed some characters from EB. (Mostly clones)
So we'll see how that goes.
On my end I've tried all I could to push for U7 team to be playable. ( so adding Tien 17 and Roshi )
It didn't go well but at least they heard me...

Chi-Chi as a young lady. Bulma was once going to be a playable character in Budokai 3 ...maybe she'll get to shine one day.
Android 18 is about it. Unless they include Pan or old-school Chi Chi. I would not mind some Super DLC for Caulifla and Kale.

An entire DLC storyline done by the abridged people, with the abridged voice actors, would be magical and absolutely worth buying. Or, you know, have them do the entire story mode. Abridged was a far, far more interesting iteration of DBZ. That would be the best move ever.

Was just curious in the wake of the rumors of Marvel vs Capcom 4 female characters.
We actually got close to that in Kai. The reenactment of the Cell Games during the Bui Saga used their respective TFS voice actors with the exception of Satan, who had Nappa's TFS VA since TFS Satan wasn't cast at the time Z Kai: The Final Chapters was dubbed. Same for Cell, who I think had a random dude.

This is a 60fps Fighter right? Because if it isn't in not playing it. I'm gonna assume it is 60fps.
People who want losers like Nappa and Raditz and what not are thinking way to small/plane. There is a whole new world of Dragon Ball characters. Minor villains like those don't really need to be remembered. Ginyu force either (maybe Ginyu but not the others)

Push for Yamcha and you will be a man of the people, Slaythe. If you get Yamcha in, I will officially state that 17 is the best villain in Z. I will argue with people if they say otherwise. You can start a grassroots campaign for 17.
