Negative, pre-show 2AM central Europe, 3AM conference.

Yep, after checking in different places this seems correct. Sony's official stream starts at 2am CET, but the conference is at 3am. So this schedule from the E3 FAQ thread is wrong:

(I'm pretty sure this schedule is meant to have the press conference times, not the pre-show times?)

EDIT: Ah, there's actually a disclaimer about that in the thread.

my bet is Deep Down -> Monster Hunter .. capcom spent too much time on Deep Down already, might as well reskin and rebrand it

I honestly think Square Enix have learned nothing about announcing games too early.

So I kind of predict Final Fantasy XVI to make a showing. And I expect it to be Agni's Philosophy.

Damn, that's a late start.

I'll have to watch a replay later, any direct links I can click for a spoiler free watch ?

Open up your browser with saved twitch Playstation stream or youtube.com/e3. Did it with Bethesda today, had no spoilers. Not that I got anything new out of presser, but still.

I still need to open up God of War 3 Remastered before getting the new GoW. I hear it has a great opening? But I wonder if I can follow the story if I haven't played anything but Ascension?

God of War 3 had a mind blowing opening, especially in PS3 area. I couldn't believe it was possible. At Full HD with locked 60 FPS I imagine it's stunning even in this day and age.

God of War 3 has the GOAT character action game opening, you should play it.

Shinobi seems to be hyping it to be bigger than Matt?

What has Matt said about Sony's? I thought he had only said to temper expectations for Microsoft's and he was right about that big time.

Dragon's Dogma was his dream project that he'd been planning since 2000, that he himself pitched. And he's still the "head director of DMC". He was supervising director on DmC and DmC DE, and director on DMC4SE. DMC is his.

Capcom has MH teams, plural. There's no reason why they'd put Itsuno on one.

We know Itsuno is working on a new title that he's announcing this year. We know that Capcom projected new DMC releases by the end of FY 2017, the same with SF, RE, DR, MH and "other" franchises. Since then we've seen RE7, Dead Rising 4, and SFV released, and RE2 Remake and MvC Infinite announced. We know that DMC HD Collection and DMC4SE sold well. We know that DMC4SE came out two years ago, and that Capcom has a roughly 2.5 year release plan for sequels.

Capcom has five big IPs, DMC being one. They're not jumping on Dragon's Dogma or Rival Schools before DMC.

Capcom has split up into 3 Divisions. As a brief summary, its

D1 - Global Titles (RE, Lost Planet, MH)
D2 - Fighters (SF, MvC)
D3 - MHs (MHF, MHX)

There is NO staff available at Capcom to work on DMC. Majority is at Platinum Games, meaning Capcom must branch out fo properly make a new DMC.

But that's all from me. We'll see tonight.

You're being too pessimistic.

It won't be the best show Sony has ever done, but there will be new stuff.

its the definition of epic.

Hmm, now I'm truly curious as to what is so great about it. Anyway, I'll make time for it this year, since I'm currently in progress with a bunch of games.
