Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor fight finalized for Aug. 26 - It's on!

Never give yourself your own nickname. This reminds me of a friend who would post these cringey as fuck pictures of himself "training" on FB, with these weird captions and everything.

Dat Snoop level self awareness:

I'm with Conor because we have the same first name. This will be a big deal for Connors, Conors, and Conners everywhere.

God he looks so slow, being 40 has taken a toll on him bigly.

I like Conor Mcgregor from the start. Always have. I have his latest represent.com shirt. Floyd Mayweather Jr. will make mincemeat of his face inside of two rounds if he wanted to. He is an entertainer though and I think he will let it go to three rounds. Conor is a great MMA fighter. But he is going up against arguably the the best pound for pound boxer we have seen in maybe 60 years, maybe ever. It will be exactly like Drederick Tatum vs Homer Simpson. I will honestly be shocked if Floyd even gets so much as a jab on him. His defense was impeccable against the best in boxing. He will destroy a Mcgregor who is coming off the birth of his son, random weight jumps and drops from 145 to 170 to 155 in MMA. He may be boxing since his teens but never at the level of Mayweather. This is just a nice payday and publicity bump for him. Floyd shouldn't have even given him the shot. Conor will take his lumps, his millions, talk trash of not being scared to at least try blah blah before he heads back to UFC for Khabib or whoever they are lining up for him. Maybe Mcgregor vs Diaz 3 since he no longer has the belts etc.

Jesus fucking christ you sound incredibly bitter.

The amount of emotional investment people have in defending the honor of Floyd Mayweather is staggering.

Floyd is not the best pound for pound boxer in the last sixty years, nor of all time. LOL

Yeah, I think anyone that is saying Connor has a good chance just aren't appreciating how incredible Floyd's defensive abilities are. I've never seen someone duck away from a flurry of punches like he can, the dude has avoided getting touched when backed into a corner or up against the ropes against some of the worlds fastest offensive boxers. He makes chanpions look like amateurs.

I can't wait to laugh at the people in this thread who claimed Mayweather wouldn't be able to knock out McGregor or thinks this is going the full 12 rounds.

I don't really know why I want to see this fight, I feel like I already know who will win, it's not like we will find out who's the better fighter. Don't know if I'll pay to watch this, the build up will be fun though.

I'm stunned you can get Mayweather as cheap as -650, I may actually make a decent sized bet on this. People really think McGregor has a 1/7 chance to win this? I'm a huge McGregor fan, but no way.
