My friend's husband died of glioblastoma in AZ. They wrote a letter to McCain begging for his help. He advised them to move.
I respectfully say this is one of the worst arguments I've seen on this website
Hey true that motherfucker is invincible for some reason like all those old monsters areHe'd probably survive it for a while because of some bs.
don't try and erase history so you can feel better
Did Hillary try and strip healthcare from millions? No? Then your point is moot.
How do we know McCain is suffering brain cancer? We need to see his medical certificate! (lmao)How so? My point is that she should back her claim. It's just words at this point.

I think he was in agreement with you. In that the entire board would be partying and calling her for head.
Ninja Scooter put my exact thought in a more eloquent way.I'll be honest here, when your response to hearing someone has cancer is 'Fuck that guy' it's pretty hard to know exactly what you meant. Because it sure sounds like you're glad he got cancer.
Now maybe that's not what you meant by 'Fuck that guy' here. And if so, apologies for misunderstanding you... but maybe a little more nuance on your part would help avoid it too. Like, if you meant 'It doesn't change me feelings towards him one bit'... then maybe it would have been better to say that.
Again, I apologize if I got the wrong idea what you meant by 'Fuck that guy'... but help me out in understanding what you meant by that in this context.
I have no problem with this.
Do I wish him cancer/death. No. I don't have the ability to do that. Nobody's negative posts gave him cancer.
But am I going to feel bad for him that he is going through what he was trying to condemn millions of fellow Americans to? Fuck no. And yes, people are angry and passionate. It's a very fucking personal issue for a lot of people. It's literally life and fucking death for people and their families. You don't expect anger and passion? This is not "different opinions". This is not "politics as usual". This is a group of pieces of human garbage, of which McCain is one, attempting to vote to take away health care from millions, MILLIONS of poor and/or sick Americans, without an adequate replacement in sight, and for no good reason other than because the guy who gave it to them was black. Fuck every single last one of them. Don't expect sympathy from me. The country is better off without them.

Contrast the way this board handles itself with how literally any conservative site would handle itself if Hillary got cancer and it's quite a stark difference.
McCain better hope his brain cancer spreads at about the same rate he's spread democracy in the Middle East

What were the mavericky things McCain did...must've been before I became politically engaged.
If this isn't karma, karma doesn't exist.
One of the biggest conservative forums is calling for McCain to immediately resign. They've also been pretty harsh in their commentary about his illness.
So what would it take for the tweet to be real? A death certificate for her husband? You're missing the point. There's a difference between a medical diagnosis of a serious condition reported by several media outlets and a singular political soundbite tweet. The latter ought to have a credible source.
It doesn't.
Cancer takes without judgement. The young. The old. The good. The evil. There's no karma here.

I agree she has to produce a letter. That's all that would be needed. She should hope her friend pulls through and finds it.
Ninja Scooter put my exact thought in a more eloquent way.
That's the point I'm trying to make here, except that we only have her "friend's" "word" for it and that it's in a box "somewhere". If that's not funny, I don't know what is.
Truth. And when you think about it, that's pretty insulting to anybody that has cancer especially little kids. Did they have it coming?
I know the poster didn't intend to come across in that way but we should be careful with our words when talking about such serious conditions.
Why should I care about his life?
It's called empathy. Be the person you want him to be.
I didn't know kids with cancer were fighting to strip health insurance from other people.
I've lost my father to cancer. I know how serious cancer is and I'd appreciate you to not put words in my mouth, thanks.
If you'd clicked the link you would have seen she's in touch with her friend and said friend is looking for the letter, which is in a box somewhere
I provided the link in my original post, even, so don't dare try to say nobody could find that information for themselves or that it wasn't easily obtainable
This man supports 23 million people losing their health care whilst he gets it gets it for free.
He straight up does not give a fuck whether they live or die.
Why should I care about his life? Because he's rich and powerful?

It's telling that you cut out the rest of the post before going with that argument.
Not a single person here thinks he'll change his ways and vote against stripping healthcare from millions but suddenly he gets cancer and we're supposed to feel sorry for him?Pretty much.
I notice these people are never asked to "be the better person" and actually, I don't know, not be murderous assholes just once.
