Mostly port begging lol
Well it's a Snes game.Let me guess... "why no Switch?"

I for one can't wait to ride Flammie on a world map in full 3D

Square and Cacpcom really continue to screw Nintendo...
At least translate the trilogy
Looks crappy and lol at the sexualization of Primm.
Well it's a Snes game.
I don't understand the complaints about the visuals. I think it looks gorgeous.
I'm getting this the moment it hits PSN.
From the Japanese website, here's the orchestrated main theme in a format you can download and save:

And the boss theme is on there too for some reason:

The Main Theme sounds lovely.
I'm quite disappointed that the remake looks like it isn't using the opportunity of doing a full-fledged orchestral soundtrack as it's not indicated anywhere - and that Boss Theme is straight up normal. If there's one game that probably deserves that lush treatment then it would be this one.
Such a shame. There are so many amazing songs on the soundtrack that I would have loved to hear.
Well it's a Snes game.
Has Square ever done a good remake? I've got massive nostalgia for SoM, it was the game that started me on RPGs, but this doesn't look good at all.
Those preorder costumes look like shit. I mean... come on.
Yeah I'll keep the Japan only SD collection thank you.
SE should localize that instead.
It's based on their mobile engine and is reusing Adventures of Mana assets so yeah, that it looks like a mobile game isn't surprising.
DQV on PS2. DQIV on PS1
Probably the best SNES game ever created.Never played this. Any good? The original that is.
Those weren't Square.
That art style is poison. Great game, but Ill stick to the original.
Favorite game of all time, so you'd think I'd be thrilled but after seeing that trailer...

They basically stuck with the Adventures of Mana art style.
The bright side of that is they're likely not going to stop with just Seiken Densetsu 1 and 2. I'd guess they'll do a Seiken Densetsu 3 remake in the same art style with a worldwide release.
They'd have to translate the third game, probably not worth it. I imagine they'll just do a remake of it if this one is successful.
If you click on the little Rabite that appears at the bottom of the screen, Spikey Tiger will jump in and the boss theme will play. From the Japanese website, here's the orchestrated main theme in a format you can download and save:

Yeah, I think people are being overly dramatic here.Looks fine to me, I dont get the hangups

Neill Corlett.
.
Yeah I played the fan translation a long time ago, I doubt they would license it though.
I'd rather date a 7 with personality, than an insipid 10.
If only that remake had personality.
Or was a 3rd of a 7 looks-wise.
That remake is like pulling a George Carlin, Mormon style, with 5 2s, in both respects... but without the obviously implied alcohol factor tainting your judgement.
Everyone wants a 10 with a great personality.
O.G. Secret of Mana is that unicorn.
So reading more about this...they're redoing the soundtrack? I don't see how that is going to a positive. The same score with updated sound would be ideal.
