How fast is your internet and what do you pay?

We have 50/20 here in Oroville, CA through Comcast Xfinty and pay $40 a month. Would be nice to download stuff faster but it's just me and my wife so we don't really need any more speed.
Holy shit. Who did you have to bang to get that deal? I pay $69 for the same thing.

300/300 in rural Arkansas but I've never got half that for 79 bucks.

27€ (with 23% VAT included) for 200mbps down, 200mbps up fiber connection, no limits, with phone line and TV with 145 channels, from vodafone with a subscription of 2 years (can't cancel the contract without due cause for those 2 years).
Also
25€ for 4G (that I can't move around) 100 down 50 up (actual speed at site around 80 something mbps down and 50 something mbps up) with no limits from vodafone, with a subscription of 2 years.
And have another service just like this same price in another location but only get around 20 to 30 download and upload also with no limits.

30€ (can't recall the exact value) for 100mbps down and 100 mbps up with TV and phone line (Which we don't use) at the office also from Vodafone (their business contracts for internet are pretty terrible usually).

Why are internet companies so shady? Comcast is horrible, but they're the only ones who can provide decent speeds in my area here in WA.

What provider? I have numericable sfr and from testing I have 25mbs down, 4mbs up on WiFi unlimited and I pay 25 for internet + phone.

Americans getting done over by cable monopolies and shitty cable networks. The US prices are orders of magnitude worse when you add in all taxes and fees. Remember European prices include all taxes and sundry fees.
Spaniards being roped into fusion bundles, which make cellphone family plans look trivial when it comes to lock-in. Nice little cartel forming there.
U.K. people getting done in for being current subscribers, only good deals available for new movers. Still shit in general.

My 300mbps down speeds has greatly improved my download times as well as things like FaceTime calls with my sister overseas. PSN can download games to it much quicker than before.

Doesn't South Korea have the best internet in the world or something. Where the SK GAF members at.
In countries where there is Fibre competition between two competing networks 100mbps becomes the low-end entry point because differentiation can only be achieved by having gigabit speeds.

Unfortunately I moved to an apartment where Comcast is the only provider. I'm paying $50 for 155 MBPS down. (supposed to be locked 3 yr agreement, but w/e - I think I got a good deal because there's also no cap)
Meanwhile, the old service I use to have, RCN, is now offering 1 GBPS down for $70.

I have it just for the convenience of being able to download games at a much faster rate, I went from having 10 down to 250 and the difference is night and day for me and could never go back to slow speeds, especially with the size of games and game patches these days.
