Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Can't wait to meet my first chicken. I'ma eat it.

mmm.....chicken.

I'm creating three new exo characters in protest of the lack of space beards. My D1 guardians are dead to me.

Great OT! Only 1 more sleep. Thankfully I get off work at 1am so that'll hopefully give me a breath of a hour of server woes. lol

I couldn't join a Destiny GAF clan because my RL friends wanted to roll with one but is the PS4 community in the communities still active? Can I join and if so who do I need to PM my details?

So do we know if the campaign missions are simply parts of the overworld like in Destiny 1 or do you go to completely new areas?

WHO PC HERE

WOOOO

WOO...

...

...

....

Well you know.

To be fair I still have 40m wow gold so this game and any paid content ever released for it are free for me, along with like 40 of my PC friends buying it which made the decision easy for me

But waiting over a month is so hard

Gonna look at classes differently this time around. Titan has always been my favourite, but gonna give the other two some better love this time around and enjoy that diversity.

I tend to not care much for chickens in games either ever since that one chicken in Skyrim brushed up against me and caused the Guards in town to go apeshit and try to murder me. Never trust a chicken. Little bastards got me in BotW too.

If I don't go regular and do one of the Season Pass ones is the extra $10 worth it for the loot? Don't know much about it or this game to be honest just ready to jump in, barely played the first one but getting excited

Thinking Warlock

40 million wow gold

I'm jelly

And yeah I think the wait is gonna kill me. The fact that it's coming out at the end of october is even more painful.

We dunno about every mission yet certainly... but the first mission sure as heck isn't part of the overworld, lol

I'm trying to decide which class to save for the PC version. I want to save one of the classes to start fresh with once the PC version drops and do the other 2 on PS4.

Hunter is traditionally my main class but considering alot of their powers are aiming / precision related I'm thinking of saving that one for PC

Nah. I bought the DDE because I'm a junkie but new people won't even notice.

Speaking as someone who did pay for that stuf....... no there's no way it'll be worth it, lol.

Yes, I don't trust birds at all.

A seagull bit me once. Not pleasant.

Thanks guys appreciate it, made my decision easier. I am just going with regular edition for now and if the game grabs me ill go with the Season Pass later.

Warlock good for a newbie like me or should I go Titan? I saw a video with a shield for the Titan which I liked and would probably be helpful while getting used to the game but I like the look and what ive seen for the Warlock and used him in the beta

Can't wait to have epic space battlez just a few button taps away. Destiny is the best chill/pick-up game.

Need to hear that grenade launcher in my headphones again. THUNK.... BOOM!

All classes are good. Don't get caught up in it. In reality you'll probably have all three like many of us.

To anybody worried about a "gjallarhorn" situation arising with Xur again the first week - don't forget that the first month and a half of Xur inventory will probably be repeated after the PC release happens, in order to give that player base a chance at the same items

I wonder if they'll just continue the Xur item rotation and not reset it

nothing stops the Xur train

Ugh y'all talking about double dippings on different platforms and I'm sitting here wondering if I should buy it digitally and play at midnight on launch, or wait till Wednesday afternoon (no chance the courier brings it any sooner). Got a Limited Edition coming my way.

Warlocks are great, but can't jump for shit!

Titan might be easiest for a newbie, imo.

This was me all morning I just went digital limited. The LE and CE this time aren't super awesome.

So I wasn’t planning on purchasing destiny 2. But due to unfortunate circumstances, and the hype. I think I’m going to pre order.

My grandfather passed away on Thursday night. We were in the hospital with him as it happened. Because of bereavement time and Labor Day, I will be off work all of this week. So I’m not just sitting at home thinking about it, I think I’ll buy Destiny 2 so I can play all week and enjoy the hype with people.

Between this and the hype, I got the bug to play. Hope to play with some of you! (PS4)

Sounds like a good idea to me. I've lost some animal friends in the past few years and the community had a hole ripped in it just a year ago. Playing with my buds and DGAF always felt right.

Also, all you double dipping pc fucks, you get 3 frame rate complaints per raid. Don't push it or we will be knife fighting on the Farm.
