Edit: I wish I had the game on ps4 like most of gaf plays. The Destiny community here is great.

Make sure you guys join the clan Discord chat (and everyone else in GAF Gold, lol) to get parties rolling.
Wiesga, ethomaz, & borque are admins, but we could use a couple more to round the herd and party up, lol. We gotta kill it in clan rewards, lol.

Hahaha good stuff. I've got a Slayer finish with a Golden Gun in a tight game, was beautiful they just lined themselves up.
Think I'm going to run Titan first. Bounced hard off of warlock in D1 and preferred Titans to Hunters so might as well stick to what has worked.

Was waiting for pc but hype got me. I'll trade the Xbox ones or sell them in October for PC versions of this. Too bad my Gamestop got an email and now they don't know when we can come get it tomorrow. It was 9 pm then it might be 10 pm. Fuckin Colorado gamestops get your shit together.
My gamestop called me tonight and said instead of 9pm it's 11pm now.

Hunters by far felt the least useful in the beta, but we'll see in practice after release (Since we couldn't see the whole skill trees right?) As far as abilities though, meh. I do love my hunters though.

So, despite the fact that I suck at PvP, this was the most gamechanging moment I had in PvP ever. We were down 16000 to 12000 and I started a monster super chain that flipped the entire battle with one move.
My only concern about Destiny 2 is that the reduced Super charge time will lead to a lot less moments like this. When you had a team that could chain supers together it was unstoppable and very fun.

Wait... that was it? That was less than D1 in terms of customization of skill trees then? Or did I miss something. I only saw two, four choice nodes.
Not like it needed to be simplified further than what it was. I thought this was just a sampling.

I caved and pre-ordered the game at EB. I was expecting an in-game preorder bonus but just got a figurine. Thinking of cancelling it ... Did I miss out on anything worthwhile?

Yup D2 appears to have significantly reduced skill trees unfortunately
Please forgive the big picture, but there's a point to it. This is a year ago, a few weeks before Drizzay passed. 
I was doing Trials with Igordennis and JustGotWicked, and they were in full carry mode with my heavy butt. After 2 cards, I asked Drizz if he minded just running my account for a card, since I wanted the emblem. He agreed, but said "Do one more card. You guys are right there."
Wicked and Igor and I made it to the Lighthouse, and this is what met me in the Discord. A WALL of HYPE from Drizzay.
Dang I sure do freaking miss that guy. He wanted to help everyone and encourage everyone, and that's what we're trying to do in D2. Thanks for coming by, everyone!!!

Yeah, there is a lot less choice in the hands of the player but each "Code" or "Path" is full of more powerful choices than their Destiny 1 counterparts.
It's definitely a change, and there is no way to see if it'll be positive just yet. It has promise though.
