My copy from Best Buy is out for delivery. I think that's the first time I've ever had it arrive a day early. I'm assuming it had to do with the weirdness of being a holiday week?

Once you got The Hanged Man shader there was no need to change
I think I changed my shader that many times whenever I played for any decent length of time, across 1,000+ myself.

Seriously!? Christ i've switched probably a few hundred times! Some shaders randomly looked amazing with certain gear where there looked like ass with others. Was fun trying to get them all and seeing what looked cool.

What I don't get is why cosmetics cant net them enough money, if they have to have them at all. What is the need for items affecting stats being able to be bought with $. I just don't see it when Skull Masks, Sparrows and Emotes were massively successful.

The beta at default used whatever name was tied to your account. Either your "real name" or battleIDthinger. I'm hoping they'd let us provide our own names but it doesn't seem likely.

I think Light is now "Power." Yes, "low" max level is still there IIRC.
So after level 20, Destiny turns into Overwatch?
I love the idea of getting an Engram when you level over the cap, but I don't love the idea that these are basically "loot crates" if they are the same thing people can buy with real $$.
Dang... good point. Those loot crates pay for everything in Overwatch.
So what do these bright engrams potentially contain? How much do they cost in real $$? How long does it take to earn one in-game?

If only they'd learn the Blizzard Overwatch business model! I'd happily pay money for loot boxes to support new content but I won't do both.
i don't really understand how that's pay to win, tbh. those are bright engrams. you get a bright engram every time you level post 20, and will eventually get hundreds or thousands of them. a real non issue imo

I agree with you on the sale of them, knowing what they offer, but Ill take a free engram over a mote of light for levelling up any day.
Y'all jumping to conclusions as usual. Bet pvp has them disabled and regardless in pve that's not your saving grace for winning.
